What a SMART PLAY casting Avacyn at the end step after seeing you spend your mana. Really great stuff.

I really like these kind of videos. I think they've helped me get a deeper understanding of the game's rules, whilst also helping me analyzing my meta. They are also very enjoyabole and kind of intriguing, keep it up!

You should have ignored one zombie from the start if you wanted to play the game 100% fairly (in your last match).

+Marc Antoni Fiol Vich completely uneccersay since he won by more then 2 damage or 4 I guess since it was two attacks.

I liked the video and also giggled each time you said "put a counter on our brain".

I love this deck I will just add more counterspells to protect against sweepers and my brain in the jar. Also I just love blue and counterspell. As always this was a great video and I always learn something. keep up the good work.

I made one of my biggest comebacks in my entire life with a deck like this. So, I had a Brain in the Jar in play, with 3 counters. My opponent had Gideon and Steaming Vents. I was at 2 life. He transforms Gideon and the Vent into creatures and attacks with both. With Brain in the Jar, I cast a Languish at instant speed, killing the Vent, and reducing Gideon to a 1/1. He swings with Gideon again. Luckily, I had a Rise from the Grave in hand. I cast it with Brain in the Jar and ressurect his Fleshbag Marauder. He is forced to sacrifice Gideon and I survive with 1 life. The rest of the game was me countering every spell he had until he quit. Luckiest day ever

Best deck you played so far since the expansion, very tricky to play. Dimir for the win.

Hello LegenVD and great video as always! I just wanted to say, only my opinion, that i don't find this deck particularly consistent, only to make an example, in the second game you had plenty of time to set up cause the opponent had too many lands and no great play, same with third game. This is only my thought, i don't want to point out luck, that's just how it went and what i appreciate are your moves and thoughts. What are your considerations? What of a blue/black control deck with cards like From Under the Floorboards and Elusive Tormentor? Even not in the same deck.
@LegenVD8 жыл бұрын
There's a lot of card selection and draw between Nagging Thoughts, Pour over the Pages and Catalog that you should be getting pretty consistent draws. Tormentor is not a bad finisher for a control deck, maybe with Sanitarium Skeleton recursion. Under the Floorboards I could see in combination with something like Call the Bloodline.

Hi! Why are you using Evolving Wilds in a 2 color deck, without any landfall cards, instead of using tapped 2 color lands ?

@mieblock48568 жыл бұрын
Hey LVD in that second game why did you discard your second copy of rise from the tides? I would say it is too much of a stretch to be able to cast two six mana spells in one game.

I've been having some outrageous winning games with this deck. Didnt really use jar couldnt find the extra mana.

Hi Legen, nice deck and fun gm play as usual. I have most of the cards but still missing some like catalog, I have just two. So I stuck in two extra artificier's epiphany to replace the other two catalogs. I'm just curious why you decided to use 25 lands with four evolving wilds? Was it just to have something else to discard if you were not able to discard a madness card or you didn't want to discard one of your other cards on each turn?
@LegenVD8 жыл бұрын
We really want to hit our landdrops every turn until turn 6, then we can discard extra lands to some of our discard spells if we don't need more.

Big fan of the channel. Is there a chance of you updating older decks with the newer cards? I'm personally interested in fast red decks to farm packs with.
@LegenVD8 жыл бұрын
If some decks get a lot of new cards I'll add them to the weekly poll, but I'm not really updating old lists as that would take up too much time. RDW has only really gotten worse with Foundry Street getting removed from the game.

On a different note: is there any way to not lose a rank when you win against a sore loser and they lock the game out?
@ChrisRS78 жыл бұрын
You can't lock the game on purpose, can you? If it happens you really only have two choices anyway, sit it out or concede and move on (you'll climb up the ranks eventually) Edit: What was your situation until the game got stuck?
@tonajki8 жыл бұрын
+VR462002 you can pause and quit, then it will stay locked out with a simple message that you have been replaced by a.i. and that's it. I was countering my tapped out opponent's kozilek's return while attacking for lethal with 10 black zombies. Ragequit :)

As much as I want to like this deck (I really do), it's way to prone to fail. Besides Rise from the Tides you rely too much on an early Brain draw. Even if you can pull the combo off, most decks run some sort of sweeper and by the time you play Rise from the Tides they almost certainly have one in their hand. Maybe it's just not unfair enough although you played it quite well!
@Kelahnus8 жыл бұрын
just run more counters for the sweepers.

This is a very crafty but very tedious deck. Probably fun and technical to play but kinda boring to watch for a full episode. Nice work making the deck!
