Nice vid! I would like to add that the mids are very important to cut through a mix. Around 300-400Hz gives you an old school kind of sound. And around 500-600 is good for that zingy back pickup sound.

i Also like using Side Chain on Dynamic EQs, to frequency duck....that really helps kicks, and bass, co-exist.

Great video, talking and at the same time showing and playing with the EQ and showing the examples, the way it must be! Thanks a lot

Super EQ video! I can really understand that for the first time. I just saw your video about bass drum EQ and tested it right away. The result was absolutely amazing! Keep it up, preferably with every instrument! I also subscribed to you.

I really wanted to see what harmonics up around the 22-24th fret looked like. Granted, those aren't commonly played. But it would still be good to know the entire available range. That way we could balance those harmonics just in case and even cut higher frequencies entirely to reduce noise.

What is meant by "Be careful in that area"? It would be helpful to be very clear in your meaning.

Hi! Well you have to be careful when boosting around 100 - 120 Hz, because you may increase the bass resonance and make it sound too "boomy". In most cases you won't need to boost these frequencies actually.
