The same people with the negative comments on here would be the same ones praying for Magic if he was broke, in prison, or on drugs. And be trying to get Magic to go to church. It makes no sense how the same people pray for you when you're doing bad and hate you when you do good things. With some people, you can't win. I'm glad Magic is using his platform to do good, maybe this message wasn't for you, but it could be for somebody else. God can use anybody to do his will. I'm a testimony to that fact because Lord knows I have done a lot of bad stuff in my life, almost went to jail, and could have been shot dead plenty of times in my life, almost shot dead by cops. So I am a living testimony that God can use anybody, including brother Magic Johnson. Let's stop discouraging people from participating in church. Magic Johnson does not have to be in the church. The fact that he's been going to church for 30 years should be applauded and not criticized.

This is blasphemous, the only reason Magic is up there is because he's a celebrity. I'm not against Magic, just the hypocrisy of his message. I guarantee you there's men in that congregation who could preach the gospel with scripture who would not be allowed anywhere near that pulpit. This man was not preaching the gospel, he was motivating and pacifying with social feel good talk, having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. How often do you hear the gospel preached with "no scripture" references, he talked about miracles and said "sometimes your family can hurt somebody getting ready for their miracle" and "sometimes you may think you're doing the right thing for a person. but you're hurting their blessing, you're their miracle, but this isn't true when it comes to his son EJ, he will not call out his sin, he's quick to called out other's sin, he called out his mother aiding and abetting his brother's sin, he called out his wife's friend, he called out his sister saying she need her miracle, but never mentioned repenting from sin, this would have been a perfect time to stand firm as a man of God and call out EJ, don't he need a miracle, what a powerful statement that would make! Absolutely Magic should love his son and the more reason he should call out his sin, but he won't do it publicly, he seeks to justify it! No, I do not know Magic personally, but I've heard from his mouth when questioned about homosexuality and his son specifically, he WILL NOT call it sin and seeks to justify it, now if it's lies, he told them! People listen to and idolize Magic because of his celebrity and high profile status. He's a role model, he's like Merrill Lynch, "people listen when he talk", he has perfect platform and arena to stand for God and call out the sin of homosexuality, especially because his son practices it and it's so glorified in today's society. When he calls them to the alter to receive their miracle, he don't speak of coming to transform their lives and repent of their sins, no, he talks about their business being down, come get your miracle, you want a promotion on your job, come get your miracle. going through something, come get your miracle, nothing about repenting of your sins, obeying from the heart that form of doctrine that can save their souls, all about the flesh not the spirit. And I’m human so I took the vaccine as insurance in case I missed it somewhere or slipped up somewhere. And you need proof of vaccination at certain places where I live. The thing I don’t understand is how some can believe that God will keep you safe from the virus, which he will and which I believe.
