The storyline of the game has multiple changes from the anime and manga, there are new areas and new characters, while existing ones are rewritten, for one Alcione was turned from a stock and annoying henchwoman (esp. in the 2nd season of the anime) to a really awesome villainess with a dramatic flair. Her and Umi's interactions are pure gold. Ascot also gained incredible substance in the game and his fate was absolutely tragic, while in the original storyline he simply was "just there". Personally I much prefer the game's storyline. Only the ending, which was dramatic and a huge plot twist (and set up the events in the 2nd season, absent in the game) was kept and here, with the game having a more lighthearted tone, it seems a bit out of place.

Thanos of Titan So, just borrow ROM files, then. I don't need them to remake the games, just emulate them. Borrow the SSF code, cause that Saturn emulator does it better than any other. It even fixes crosshatching, among other things. If they put Nocturne in the Moonlight on Virtual Console running the SSF software, that game would be much more popular. No slowdown, load times AND fixes most of the graphical problems (given a majority of them use crosshatching, which can be replaced with the "mesh translucency" option of the emulator) that people hated about it. Also, Maria. Come on, who doesn't want to play Adult Maria? What an amazing character development.

I can't believe how much of this game I remember after all these years. The voice acting was *excellent* for the time, even if it hasn't aged well in comparison to what is available today. Personally, I prefer it to the dubs on the anime that was released on VHS in the US a few years after the game came out.

@@marakarthegreat This game had very good voice acting considering the time period and budget. Metal Gear Solids voice acting was so good because Konami had a massive budget. Wirking designs was a tiny company. Also this game started localization in 95 or so, a year after the games Japanese release, and was pushed back like 3 years due to technical issues. This is much better than most anime dubs in 95-96. People are so spoiled with good voice acting in games nowadays that they retroactively criticize games from when the industry was barely budding.

@@morriganrenfield8240 Saturn emulation is not great on cheap ARM powered devices and Sega will never put together the technical resources to make a custom built Saturn Emulator that performs fast and accurately on a cheap ARM chip. They would need to sell a $200+ device which would have a very small market and probably not be worth it economically for Sega. Plus the market is already small for Saturn as it is because very few people in the US have any nostalgia for it. Way less than the Genesis at least.
