I think it is super cute and adorable I also agree that the spell making part is super exciting and just gives you that witchy/wizard magical feeling. Would I go out of my way to buy probably not, but it is super cute and adorable to see a toy company becoming more creative with magical toys.

I'm turning ten next month and my mom said she was gonna give this Magic Mixies Cauldron kit to me as a birthday gift (the others are mysteries)! That cauldron SATISFIED ME!!! OMG I can't wait to play with it!

I forgot to mention the little box that has all of your potion ingredients in it is also used to put whatever you want in it and attatch it to the where the mixie was to real prizes or whatever you want in it. I but little gifts for my daughter and put it in there without her seeing what it is and she does the potion process again to get the gift just like the mixie. I wish they sold more of the mixie dolls separately so you could collect them i think that would be alot better!

Seriously, if people are peeved about having to buy the ‘potion’ refills you can simply make them yourself using bath bomb ingredients and a cute shaped ice cube tray! 😂 It’s cheaper in the long run buying the bath bomb ingredients as you get A LOT more product and it’s pretty easy to make in less than 30 mins. Just leave them to dry overnight for more potion fun the next day!

@@cupcakevyt Lol so you haven't ever heard of DIY bath bomb kits? You can make mini versions of them using patterned ice cube trays, they also dry quicker than the ball ones.

Where in my comment did I even talk about the misting/smoking part, hmm? Please copy and paste the specific sentence. I was talking about a cheap way for parents to make their own bath bomb minis cause the refills in store are expensive and there's many complaints! You've ruined a perfectly helpful comment by your clear stupidity, thanks a lot. This machine only needs WATER to create the mist effect because is basically another version of a cool mist diffuser like the ones you use in your house with WATER and a few drops of essential oils for scent! I know cause I own five of them and one of them is LITERALLY sitting on my bedside drawers right next to me. A warm mist version is often called a humidifier which is used when people are sick🤦‍♀️🤣

When you tap the wand on the Gem you have to touch the sensor to the gym which is at the top of the wand And it will be flat

There is a way to open the cauldron and clean it. Also you can also buy refill spell ingredients. Though this is adorable I agree the price isn't worth it. There is also a way to shut off the smoke for those with asthma.

Funny how they made a note that the fog is safe for children when vegetable glycerin is also one of the main ingredients in vaping. but Vape is "supposedly" unsafe. and people would think its not okay to vape around children. what do you think makes the smoke in vapes? its the same thing as the fog in this toy. You see they mention that vegetable glycerin that makes the fog is safe for consumption around children. and its the same for vape its just as safe for consumption.

Just got an Idea. If that thing is really reusable Parents can prepare small gifts for children and put them where the toy used to be. And choose things to put in the water to create potions. You can buy a lot of colourings and sparkles almost everywhere and other tiny bath bombs, and then it will be a good way to give some gifts for a child

this toy is so dang cute ! but youre right it missed the mark on the guide ... i would have been so annoyed with that instruction sheet, takes the magic right out of it.... they gave u a QR code, why not do a digital guide with next buttons so that people can interact with the toy and the guide :) for that much money i dont think its for me, but its just so damn cute !!!! also, when u squeaked when the thing popped nearly killed me ! :P

I get why kids (and adults!) would love this toy but it is definitely too expensive, especially if you have to pay extra on top of the initial cost if you want to be able to do more spells. If it was half that price it'd be reasonable. And the instructions are ridiculous. No kids' toy should be that complicated to use.

You can actually use it over and over again! You can buy refills of all the mix ins and the little chest they give you fits in the bottom of the cauldron so you can fill it with gifts or little things which will then come out of the potion. Obviously the toy is no longer a surprise, but if you put it on top of the cauldron it will "help" you brew potions.
