Magic moments indeed…i grew up in North Melbourne in the sixties and fondly remember the Errol street shops, especially the toy shop next to the town hall .

I was born June 1958, women's hospital Carlton. Everyone overdressed in those days. Hats and coats.

Grouse looking at all the cars on the road, the 56 Ford Customline cop car @.21 to a twin spinner and all the Utes by business and tradies of the day from Holdens, Vauxhalls to Austin A-40’s etc, no SUV’s back then! And a good look at that woman pushing the stylised pram, no lightweight strollers then!

I was born in Melbourne in 1952 but post war men were broken remember so we cuddled up to Menzies and quiet conservatism for our recovery then he reigned until 1966. We started to reject the uk/ usa breast feeding and grew up
