I run a cat rescue with my mom and aunt, my responsibility is mostly taking cats back and forth to the low-cost vet about 30 minutes away. I used to be driven nuts by the car full of cats freaking out about going to the vet, but I found this video one day and played it for them. Left her conjunctivitis and whatnot untreated and now she is blind and very old... RSPCA was called ... That was months ago.... This poor girl is now with me untill rspca come get her ., i called them again as she is fur and bone and not being bought in ... Cold blind hungry and old... I had enough. I am fostering an undersocialized (formerly feral) senior blue point siamese shelter cat--recently rescued from 12 years in a windowless basement after the owner passed on. Missy was so scared upon arrival that the shelter had to prescribe a tranquilizer so that she could resume basic functioning: eating, sleeping, using a litterbox. Now, she is off the gabapentin and listens to this music with me every night in the living room--so relaxed that she curls up nearby on her playmat while listening. NO accidents outside the litterbox any longer. She is now even enjoying TOYS. This track has been the single most effective KZbin cat-calming soundtrack helping Missy with letting her guard down, trusting humans and life again, and building up to becoming a more confident cat. If anyone’s wondering how this works, cats hear at an octave higher than what humans normally sing/speak at and therefore normal human music makes them feel bored or confused (but can be calming to hear a humans voice in the room if you’re away) and the tempo of the music matches that of purring & the sucking noises made during nursery :)

My girl Lil Pooh is 19. She is the soul mate I never had. She has comforted, nursed, stood by me through life in hard times. I love her more than I can say. God blessed me with her. She is gentle, sweet, lovely and a floofy version of her kitten self still. White and grey puffball of perfect innocence. To see her is to know angels are animal comforters for weary souls who walk alone. 😢 She has been ill and I have cried rivers just to hear her purr, meow or look into my soul with her old eyes. Yes she has, maybe if for no reason but to answer my Christmas prayers... Please don't take my baby girl before another Christmas with her. I selfishly ask another day, another hug, but God has her life and mine,so I cling to hope. I am so greatful to Jesus for helping me through this pain in my spirit. God bless all kitties and their families, truly no other love can hurt so much and ever be missed More, when heavens angel calls our babies home. @@PPaxP I absolutely agree that the pain from losing a beautiful furbaby our soulmates, when I lost my kitty Spirit I felt literal pain in my heart, so unbearable was and still hurts, he was only 8yrs old, when I found he had cancer it was already too late for treatment, when the vet advised that the kindest thing to do was to put him to sleep, my whole world came crashing down on me, I held him tight while I said my goodbye. The music reminded me of how I lost my cat, Alice, a barn cat mixed with a bob cat or as we call it, the Lynx, she was beautiful and to see her perish was very hard for me. To this day I wonder what she may be up to in heaven. What I know is that she frolicking along in the fresh cat grass with many other cats along her. May we pray for our cats and other pets who are long gone now. And once we fall may we reunite with our loved ones such as our pets and the members of our family who have passed as well. My cat, Caramel, that escaped on Sept 30, 2022 has been found and brought home on August 30, 2023. 11 months after. He has become like a feral cat. First time since his return that I was really able to pat him and stroke him between his ears and under his chin. He came back for more! I had put this music and gave him treats after I was able to stroke under the chin without him going away! A big step for this cat! I gave him his space and went slowly…. Now, for him to get used to his half-brother. I introduced them to each other too early following a suggestion, and a big fight. They have been separated since. I will borrow a screen door now from a friend. They will look at each other through the screen door for a few days… until I feel that they are friends or friendly enough to be with each other in the same room. Big steps done already!!! Yippee!

This channel REALLY DOES HELP~Due to a flood in my building, I had to bug out with my animals to an extended stay hotel. My normally adventuresome kitty was freaked out and would NOT come out from under the bed, except for potty time, and some hand fed food. A few hours ago, I went downstairs to use the pool and spa. To my utter amazement, this seems to have relaxed my "I want to be outside NOW" cat, Silver Stream Zephyr (known as Zepphy). She was complaining for half an hour, I put this on, and she seems to have wandered off to bed. She normally complains most of the night. Her brother, Brave Sir Robin, was already calm and remains calm.

My cat was sitting by the door very alert at 10:30 pm and kind of guarding the door. A few minutes in he lay down with his paws tucked under him with his ears swiveling to listen to the beautiful music. It looks like he loves it. He's about to fall asleep.

Wow it’s cat tranquility magic music! My 2 yr old Jack was bound and determined to devour a baby mocking bird this morning which I rescued last night as well. I was searching for sleep music for myself. My kitties are early risers and have left to resume their duties . They don’t seem to have trouble getting to sleep and staying asleep but I sure do! If they are here with me sleeping and I can reach out and touch them-then it’s like them saying “ it’s okay . Everything is okay -go back to sleep”. They will sometimes be the one doing the petting -leaning into me. Sometimes I think I don’t deserve such lovely companions. But I’m sure glad they are part of my life.
