Best way to use it with SIP. When you are doing job start the SIP as we all know in the start it is very rare to have this much of lump sum amount. Let the SIP run for 15 years then we can retire. After retirement use SWP which will give you monthly income plus also reduce your long term capital gain tax as total profit per annum will be small (withdrawals) + remaining amout will keep on growing at stock index rate minimum.

Good Video...But you haven't considered inflation while describing 4% rule.... Max. Withdrawal rate = Growth Rate - Inflation rate. Another problem with SWP is that you sell a lot more units when markets are down. Therefore SWP in equity mutual fund is not good idea. It is a good idea to have for example 20% of total money in debt fund, and then do SWP in debt fund.
