Here in the southwest USA, we have a variety of Mistletoe which grows on Junipers. Its leaves look like the Juniper’s, only a darker green, it also makes berries. But now I am curious if it’s like the European variety being Dioecious since the Junipers themselves are Dioecious trees. I will have to observe more, thanks for this video.

We saw some Mistletoe growing wild in the US state of Arkansas. It's about 5 hours' drive south of us. I was interested, but dared not bring any back to our small fruit and nut plantings. It is where it belongs.

@@Qingeaton The genius name is derived from the Greek for tree thief for the species grown in Arkansas, so leaving the mistletoe behind was probably a good idea as you have fruit orchards.
