Using that, I can confirm that the Black Door is one of the strongest tool that you can use in magic, in my opinion. You can do a lot of routines and, nevertheless, you can make spectators inspect them. If you pay the right level of attention when you carry around, Black Door is gonna be really durable.

Just curious David on the whole "letting the spectator" hold and/or remove the reveal from the envelope. How confident would you be letting a spec handle and remove something from this envelope without them feeling or potentially discovering anything fishy about it. Let's say on a 1-10. 10 being totally comfortable, and 1 being not comfortable at all.

obviously they are going for the EASY compartment. The HARD one WON'T open without secret knowledge - id' be totally confident

@magicorthodoxy It seems to me the difference between this and Blake Vogts 4 way out black envelope is that the spectator can open up the envelope themselves vs with Blake’s you have to open it up. In your opinion does it really matter if I’m pulling a prediction out or if the spectator is pulling out the prediction from the envelope. I know which ones stronger but does it really make a difference as a magician if I pull it or them?

magicorthodoxy ya I don’t think so either but a lot of people would disagree with me saying the spectator has the greater asdvatsgr pulling it out. I don’t overthink it and I don’t want to think like a magician but lots of people prefer that way. I wonder why that is

Cost aside, how is Black Door better that #4 Envelope. From your review it sounds like the Spectator can take a harder look at it when it is in their hands. However, #4 makes it super easy to have 4 predictions loaded and ready to show. Which of the two would you use when you need all 4 outs. Thanks, David. Love your reviews!

I'm sick of envelope magic!! Quit fooling me! Me and a friend have been puzzling over two Max Maven effects. Positive Negative and one he does in Art of Magic at 13:28. I've told my friend I think it's a gimmicked envelope and had the lady said "No," then Max would've had to take the envelope and open it himself to get to the 2nd compartment. My friends going to buy the Videomind series to learn Positive Negative and all the other great stuff it has, I'm sure, but that envelope prediction has been driving us crazy for a year at least. Awesome review per usual, thanks!
