I think making them write a prediction on a blank card, peek that, do your routine and then close with this. Then you have a souvenir you can give them. I can't stop thinking of ways that this can be more epic.

Hey David! Question, does the Alakazam instructions come with this regardless of where you purchase it?

Heyo David! Your suggested add-on as a closer to this effect is brilliant! Will definitely include that in my performances of this PH gem. Thanks and salutations always!

Great review and insight. Thanks, David. Good reminder of how a unique method can be twisted and utilized in so many ways, especially with just presentation as the main variable.

This is unrelated to the video but I recently purchased a couple decks of Bicycle cards. They seem to be standard 808 Rider Backs but the colors of the backs are different than your standard Red and Blue. One deck seems to be a Raspberry color and the other deck seems to be a Forest Green or Dark Blue. Depends how the light hits it for me. However the whites on the back design seem to be either a silver or grey color. I am wondering what is the new color series called? I got them from Walmart a couple of weeks ago. The front of the tuck case seems standard Bicycle. Has the Bicycle logo on top. Enlarged Bicycle Spade pip for the center. Playing Cards spelled out in English and French on the bottom. That is it for the front. The rest of the tuck case is your everyday 808 tuck case. Dave have you seen these different new colored 808's?

I've been playing with this all week, and while the original routine sucks, the folks at alakazam have a routine included that is solid and will certainly get that astonished reaction you want 👍👍

Hi David: There is a lot of controversy on various magic sites such as Magic Cafe and Magic Forum and Penguin Magic about this trick. There are many very negative reviews saying the routine is awful but the gimmick is great. One person wrote that the trick requires mastering the Plunger Rise sleight. There are a few reviews that are glowing such as yours. There is a full performance of it on AlakazamMagic UK on youtube. Is that an accurate and fair presentation of the effect? And thank you for your reviews. I check in here every day to see what you have for us fellow magicians.

Dan Polier plunge method is bad just choose any card presentation you can think of or get one from millions of KZbin vids. You honestly don't need two different colored decks, I even use duplicate vowels. Just think waaaayyy outside the box

Hi David, Thanks for the video! Your review helped me to make my decision to purchase it from Penguin Magic. I had heard in reviews that the additional video with the Biddle Trick was much stronger. Hearing your praise for it as well sealed the deal.

Great review of Deep Clear, Paul Harris is a genius but to be fair not a big fan of this one, even with the Alakazam add on. Not to say its a bad trick far from it, but for my taste it lacks that magical feeling if it makes sense. Keep up the great work, love your reviews undoubtedly the best magic reviewer out there 👍

What are those dodgy looking lines on the card in the wallet I see? Is that part of the gimmick that's visible? Just to be certain, you definitely get the Dave Loosley handling on the site you get the main instructions from?

I was looking forward to your review. However, my experience was the exact opposite. Routine reminded me of some cheesy kid trick. I saw many limitations as well with the magic words. For some reason my gimmick was also poorly made. The concept is very clever, just not sure how this would work. Little is examinable. Instructional video was low quality with few real-world performances. For me, this may be worth $20, not $40.
