Thanks so much. I wish I had known what you said here years ago. To appreciate the scripting and elegance of Peter Turner, some of us wrongly started with some books that were not that well written, considering the complexity of some of his effects. But you really get to understand and appreciate Turner from some of his later classes and scripting, etc., like this work. thanks so much!!!

I am genuinely impressed you got this review down to 22 minutes. The only thing I wish they had done different is labeling the performances and giving us time stamps. Not a huge gripe once you know where to find them. I did end up using some software to pull the performance clips out. I loved the documentary but didn’t want to scroll through it each time I needed to reference.

David, you've gotten sooooo good with your reviews since you started doing them ! I've been with you from the beginning. You may be fresh, new blood but you have risen through the ranks pretty quickly....faster than most, IMO. I have kept abreast of your ascension and it's impressive. Just like this review. You are so dedicated to your task that I don't see how you can get anything else done in your life. This is, by far, the best review of this product I've watched....i.e. a little late to the game I admit, but none the less educated by your generosity in sharing your acquired wisdom,, knowledge of the subject matter, and perseverance in seeing the project through. Not only did you spend massive hours watching the videos, but also in formulating your thoughts and opinions of each of the 12 menu items. You may or may not be aware of the tremendous value your reviews and opinions matter in the magic community, but they do. Man, you really throw yourself into your work. Great job! Keep it up!!

I really liked the kit (tremendous value for $89) , but totally agree ~ you have to be the dominant personality in the room and you need a nice spectator, a seated audience and ideally some time for pre show. You can't just walk up to someone, make them forget their name and leave. The Jam sessions are really where I saw the most value. Also the box contents are actually supposed to be so you can take your own dice man journey, the provided billets are for the challenges. I've tried it and failed 3 out of 4 times but the one time it worked, god damn! I couldnt believe it myself, I was like how tf. Then I had to interview the spectator later on about what she felt and why. I was so amazed at myself lol. Because it was like I just said some stuff and then genuinely she had difficulty lifting her hand /saying her name. When it works, its scary.

Hi David, I've had this for a few days now. I too was a bit underwhelmed when I opened the box but as you say, it's all about the video content! Ok so this review is actually spot on and really good! Other reviewers basically just gave an overview of what it is but u went into details! And I would agree it takes a lot of practice and u need to be the real deal to perform this properly, however as 15 year old who doesn't do stage shows, and all of my classmates are more or less hecklers and it being very difficult to be the real deal or the main guy in the room filled with relatives, it's something which is definitely not for me! Would recommend that people shojld get sure fire tricks or apps like Inject, cognito, 52 to 1 deck etc.

Great review, I was curious about this from the member’s page. I wasn’t convinced of the value you were getting at first. So got this through the post a couple of days ago & dived into the videos. Pros - Love the documentary. I can relate to some of his childhood stories which is great & tragic. Routines are amazing, but bold & you need a lot of guts to do it. Lovely packaging, good quality playing cards/dice/billets. Cons - I still feel it could have included some props other than the deck/dice/billets. The pen is pointless (not literally) really felt it could have been exchanged for something else. No video for the marked deck (I think). I heard you do get a video download if you buy the deck separately which is useless for us. I feel they could have given way more billets. For the price, it should have been stacked of those things as they are great quality. All in all a good set overall. Great routines, but the props leave a lot to be desired.

For suggestion based mentalism the words aren’t the ingredient. It’s the selection of the right person(s). And then you need to stack suggestions slowly making it bigger. I am no longer a professional Mentalist/Stage Hypnotist I did that for 12-13 years and got bored and left the whole field. So I don’t know Peter personally. But he seems credible and knowledgeable but it also seems like a money grab. He basically controlled people to pay money for something that any book on suggestion, stage hypnosis (not plugging my book, but I guess if you Google the subject mine pops up together with other great books) together with some work of Hoy or Chan Canasta can teach you for less.
