Perhaps if people wanted to practice beforehand, they could buy some of the cheaper snowstorm packets off of murphys or VI to get the handling down. The smaller paper does give it a really nice look though

I really wonder how big the market is for a trick like this. There aren't many magicians working on a stage and from what i hear, stage managers hate this trick because of the mess it makes.

I did a family act for a few years with a musician and did a butterfly storm from behind a curtain and part of that meant we cleaned it up afterwards. We did schools, ( auditoriums, gymnasiums, cafeteria's) library's, park shows and many other odd venues. I would reuse whatever was collectable since I was just using a three foot hand fan to lift loose handfuls of the butterflies over the curtain. Kids had access to the front stage area for many shows and we let them take butterflies if they wanted what was left we cleaned up. I personally believe you leave the venue as clean or cleaner than you found it. Things that play big sometimes take two minutes of joy and 15 minutes of post show teardown. We felt the effect was always worth the effort and it played to the back of even the large theatres.

Rule one of stage magic " if it can go wrong it will" . I would practice it with at least 2 packets. I would also have 2 or 3 packets secreted on my person as backups. Great review otherwise 👍
