I had a woman befriend me and I didn't see the harm in it. Long story short she is into the dark arts and I believe a spider entity of some sort. I was on my healing path and preparing to be of service to others. Through her I met my ex covert narc fiance. He completely derailed, sabotaged me, destroyed my self-esteem, mental and physical health. I of course allowed it. I didn't have any boundaries at all, I was under heavy Neptune influence of rose-colored glasses and "the world is good and just be wide open". I am out of that mess now and still trying to reconcile my experience. But it's just like you said. The friend put hooks into me, she saw my mother wound and wormed her way in. The ex saw my 4th house Chiron and dangled that illusion in front of me like a carrot stick. Both had access to me through my unhealed trauma. Nearly took me out of this world. But by grace and through God I'm getting stronger every day. I feel like I was targeted. Like a legion of demons were sent to take me out. Pardon my long comment, it's just no one I can talk to about these things without sounding crazy.
