This explanation is extremely confusing, and clear as mud! How is the trick done?

This is why the people who write manuals for us to be able to use equipment, are *not* the people who design and build them!

Worst explanaition ever. I am still no wiser as to how this works.

Agreed. I think he might be stoned.

So its based on timing, it’s a sequence and the way to change to the next sequence is by deactivating the last switch that was on and, if the board doesn’t detect any switch on, it changes to the next sequence Example, last bulb it’s turned off It waits 4 or 5 seconds of inactivity within the board (inactivity understood as all the bulbs are off) The next sequence is loaded in and the job of the user is to change the caps and bulbs in the correct order of the current sequence

For the trick, the first switch activated activates the first light bulb - second switch activates activates the 2nd, etc. It memorizes the order for 3 seconds after, then it reverts, but if a switch is activated, it doesn't revert until it's untouched for 3 seconds.

Quadryc exactly how mine does😉 just explained differently and shortly😃. by the way, my "cleaner" prototype had a glitch that ended up as a cool ending statement.

thanks, was not gonna stop until i got the truth
@bradleyherzog3051 Жыл бұрын
I have played w the real version and you don't have to memorize anything. It is NOT dependent on which switch you throw first even when switching the color of the switches.

What the hell he is saying ???

@lyrison I haven't attempted to do a high voltage one yet. However, it could be done with Silicone Controlled Rectifiers (SCR's) or maybe triacs to turn the light's on and off. After all, it's how I see it anyway. It is not "direct from source".
@b1tw0nder12 жыл бұрын
@lyrison Switching bulbs around like that is possible. It's the switching order of the switches that matters most.

@Goudenkooigevecht its only a prototype that is now dismantled and obsolete. the magic switch box is newer. this video was more about how it works inside. also i do perform in the magic switch box from scratch demo.

Wow! Thanks dude for explaining this, because this trick has fooled me completely. It took me a while to understand your explanation, but now I got it and I am going to build one myself :-D

Recommend a small Arduino and powerful mosfets. Could use a pic16 if you can code like i did. Originally used npn though.

Well, Jacob Carignan if you know how it works the share! It has already been cloned and modified by several youtubers... it is not a big secret anymore. By the way as I mentioned in another comment, it is my impression of one of the original few.
@jacobcarignan72929 жыл бұрын
So, how does that have to do with any of this¿There aren't any other videos revealing this. Yes it has been cloned but if you were working for a top secret government facility and they made a new cloning machine and you go right out there and tell everyone how it works. It is rude to do that type of stuff. Also, why the heck would I tell you how it was done!!!!
@jacobcarignan72929 жыл бұрын
It is still a big secret. I don't know where you thought it was no longer. If you don't believe me go out on the street and show people the Wellington performance of this. Ask them how it is done and they will have no clue. Trust me a just did a big show with this as a comedic break and I got complimented on that trick and how I performed it made the wonder of how it worked more amazing. Let the doctors do heart surgery, let dentists do root canals, and let magicians do magic. Stay away from others territory is just a rule of life.

I am going to try and build this. Can you send me a material list of stuff I need to buy. I have found some of the stuff but dont know of the specific items. Please respond soon if possible.

Yea I have had a read mate! Was just having a crack at some bloke that annoyed me lol. As much as I love pic's I have to say that these days I use arduino for most things unless I have no other option. The arduino IDE makes things a lot simpler and quicker. Im lazy so it works well for me lol

Thank you for explaining my good God i was wondering how the hell these things worked... as for all the people talking smack because all they can comprehend is tiktok brain rot content, why dont you do us all a favor and get a hobby... no need to get on here and talk down to people you dont know just because your brain is smaller than the average bear, your inability to retain information while said information is actively being explained WITH VISUALS I MIGHT ADD, before your eyes is your problem and your problem alone.

Hundreds of dollars? Anyone with an elementary understanding of microcontrollers and electronics could knock this together in a couple of hours for 20 - 30(AUD) bucks using a pic!! As for you having a teary about a trick being revealed...... Without meaning to sound harsh, you must have terrible logic and analytical skills not to have worked this trick out while watching it being performed elsewhere!!!
