Just wanted to share my knowledge of MTG. -SLD are typically bundle sets that are sold in either foil or non foil sets. Some of the cards come in guaranteed and you have a shot at a random rare card. -SLD usually don’t release with decks, booster boxes, collector boosters. That’s reserved for the main sets. -universe beyond are colaba that are turned into main sets. Example Doctor Who and Lord of the Rings -past SLD have not seen releases with decks and boxes like Street Fighter, Stranger Things As much as I would love to see collector boosters of MTG x Marvel I think this is just gunna be a standard SLD unless it would get special treatment. I may be wrong! But let’s hope for the best

For someone who started at the oldschool mtg, you don't seem to have much nostalgia towards oldschool mtg, when compared to marvel and star war cards. Why is that? Anyway, as a former mtg collector/player who was active during the 2010s, I feel compelled to inform folks of the dangers of investing in the less rarer cards or doing massive regular booster box openings, cause they will likely tank in prices. If it's anything like the Return to Ravnica or Battle for Zendikar sets, where a few cards generated tons of demands in the products, and since the regular booster boxes were to print to demand for a few months, before it becomes out of print (it's a card game, so they need to meet demands), the lesser chased cards will flood the market and many rare and mythic cards will tank in value.

O I have quite the want list for some beta cards they just always get pushed down a list. A nice beta copy of Shivan dragon is high on my list, along with Royal, Sengir, Lord of the Pit, Force of nature etc. I really want those classic rares from Beta.

Any idea if Rudy is offering any collector boxes for his patreons? I think this product will be opened a lot and cards will flood the market, so I'm not looking to open more than a box and a few packs for drafts, but as to holding the sealed, looks like buying and holding a few sealed boxes is the way to go.

Going to be VERY popular. The long term value will depend on supply. Hopefully they make serial numbered cards which forces them to cap the number of collector boxes. The secret lair drop will sell out very fast unless it's print to demand.
