The D1's were OK. I didn't know about these. I'll definitely get a pair of these soon. I typically buy 2 different colors and then do the swapped halves thing like you did.

Plus they're durable. I've dropped and thrown my D1 a few times and it's still more or less intact. Pretty sturdy.

My d1 sucks sure it was durable but it spins less than 15 seconds it can't even do stop and go I tried modifying it by changing the spacers but it was a waste of money

Pretty good tip for 2A Looping... doing tangler's more specifically... watch a fire performer do a 3 or a 4 beat weave with poi or meteor hammer going forwards and in reverse the (latter being really difficult to learn for a beginning poi or meteor spinner and would imagine it being extremely difficult for someone starting out in 2A yo-yo'ing given the gauge of the string) it'll teach you to cross stings without tying knots in them. Plus seeing someone play with fire responsibly is pretty fun to watch.

Heya Dylan - its odd that yours didnt come with the extra spacers? (At least it didn't look like they did) - the ones I have in my shop also come with a spare spacer set which narrows the gap and allows for more customisation

I'm good one handed. But i found my brain is proper man brain. It can only do one thing I ask at a time. Luckily it still pumps blood and keeps me breathing while I do anything.... I digress, I like them, I like the pastel colours and having a looper on a dog walk is fun, I'm in. Ty dood and Ty magic yo.

You can still loop just fine with a polyester string. Just make it size 8 or 9.

Are these as good as let's say a Yomega raider ex? Or a Spintastics Tornado 2? Or a super yo Sonic spin?? Which is discontinued and some are selling for $100 if lucky you'll find em for $20 from ppl that don't know their prob the most rare yoyo of the late 90s early 2000/2001 before they was discontinued. But hands down best looper style yoyo ever built. Plus a sleep time of like 3 to 5 mins out the box n can get alot Longer out of em if you tweak the hard plastic style bearings. But..... If the bearings mess up your completely utterly screwed because you'll never find a replacement bearing for em.. they are a Size H specific size specifically built n Designed just for the sonic spin 1 and 2 and the glow n dark version called the Superyo invader. Which their is a few diff color bearings that came with em.. the best one was Blue with a white outer sleeve. Then solid blue and then a blue and yellow one then a solid red bearing... And if they mess up the yoyo becomes useless unless you can find a replacement H size.. or find a way to put a Yomega raider bearing or a Spintastics Tornado bearing in them which is impossible iv done tried yrs ago lol. But I got lucky n bought 3 sonic spins on eBay a few nights ago for $20 a piece from a old lady... She didn't know their actually worth $100+. And another cool looper is the superyo samurai which was the record holder for the longest sleeper in 1999 which I got two of em and in 99 they could sleep for 12+ mins it beat the Tom Kahn silver bullet yoyos sleeper time. And I got two of em my grandfather bought me one at a toy store in Bristol Virginia/Tennessee back in 2002 / 2003 for $130 - $150 ish for Xmas. And I still have it. And then I ran across one at a Flea market in Myrtle beach South Carolina last yr I got it for $15 bucks 😂 yes a super nice superyo samurai all aluminum yoyo with hybrid ceramic bearings it also came with extras with it. Now the one my grandfather bought me he actually bought me replacement bearings for it which at the time was $50 or so a pop.. and he also bought me replacement bearings for my sonic spins I had.. all I used was super yo and Yomega at the time. And I became extremely good at yoyos so it's why my grandparents bought it for me. And when I seen that Super yo Samurai wooden box with $15 sticker on it. I asked the lady and she said yes $15 dollars... N I was gonna buy the box I didn't know their was a iconic yoyo inside of it... And when I picked it up it felt heavy... N when I opened it to see that silver yoyo with the Japanese writing on it n a samurai on the back with a low Serial number on its back my heart almost stopped 😂. I gave her a $20 n told her keep the change and I got out of there quick like 😂. Just incase she realized she sold me a $500 yoyo for only $15 bucks lol. She also has the silver bullet for $80 and old Xbrians which I bought a couple which are still sealed up. And some fireballs and Firestorms I bought them as well. And I bought one of the coolest yoyos ever.. the Alchemy CU which has a human Eye etched into it and it's a smaller yoyo but damn it's amazing and nimble and quick and sleeps for a hot min like 6 mins atleast. I got it for 10 or 12 bucks. And then a Yoyojam dark magic ghost which is a expensive yoyo now lol. I had a few when I was little but I could never find em for the longest time until that day when we went to our beach house in Myrtle beach n decided to hit up the flea market. Their was a lady that sold old toys from her husband's toy store they owned in Los Angeles n he passed away and she was left with thousands of yoyos and I asked her about the samurai and she said they had more in storage n I asked her if I could buy some more of em n the dark magics if any left and she said of course so I gotta go back in June when she returns and I'll have more of those samurais and dark magics n I'll possibly sale some on eBay or something. I asked her price on em n she said $20 a piece? N I said yes n asked her about how many she has n she said she has atleast 30 or so of the samurai yoyos n wasn't sure on the others. She said the samurai looks really nice n was her husband's favorite yoyo.

Jeez, what's the the wall of text? Loop 720, loop 2020, isunrise, and c3 initiator are really good looping yoyos. Everything else is mediocre or just awful. It doesn't matter if they are selling them for $100. Those yomega yoyos are outdated.

Why in every yoyo magic yoyo makes has a number and letter like Y01 node
@vision821k44 жыл бұрын
their names change from chinese to say, english so a number in it makes it easier to spot.. i dont know for sure if thats why, but i expect, since math is universal.

Almost all of them do have names in English, some are just kind of weird and they avoid using. Some are the other way around though, like most people don't even realise that the MYY Purple Line has a product code, it's the V5. I've been trying to work this out for a while, got a big spreadsheet with every MYY product on it haha. They have K, T, N, D, V, Y, M, Z as product letters. There's a few extras that have no code like the Variant, Vapormotion, or Skyva. Then there's LM1, which is unique enough to be in its own category. My latest guess is that they're grouped in styles and in chronological design order (not release order). K and T are a lot of their earlier more basic designs, and K often features hubstacks or similar. T1 is also their 4A yoyo. N seems like the variance range. N5 is superwide, N8 is pocketsized, N9 is z-stacks, N11 is organic, and N12 is the all-in-one generic. V is mostly collab yoyos with other companies, like the V3 and V4 with Ametoys, V5 with iYo. D is easy, it's plastics. D1 & 3 are loopers, D2 is responsive, D5 is unresponsive. Y seems like their 'new-age' budget yoyos. A light up one and a non lightup one, both quite cheap. M is premium line, and Z seems like it'll be sort of 'budget premium'. Either that or they've finished M and started Z in its place.
