+TaylorHound When I first saw it at Disneyland I cried and thought of my deceased cat Sugar. I took a video of it and had tears in my eyes, only to accidently delete the video the next day! Now whenever I watch the movie or hear the song I think of her.

Everything I hear the Dumbo song Baby Mine, I remember my mother. She used to sing that song to me every night when I was little. What's even more special about this show is that I still remember watching it every time my family went to Disneyland. Even if we were staying at the hotel near the park (the Howard Johnsons) my family would sit in the pool and watch the fireworks. Since we've seen it so many times, we already knew the music and we could faintly hear it. I will never forget the days of Magical, and may it never be forgotten. 🌟 🏰 🎆

Great video. As a person who has been to disney world 16 times, Disneyland Cali 9 times and Disneyland Paris once I feel obligated to respond to comments below. Disneyland goes up on its prices every year, but so do grocery stores, restaurants, Starbucks etc. It's called the cost of doing business. Living in America ain't cheap and if you think it's bad now, you better hold on to your hats and glasses because it will get more costly in the next 10-20 years. Second, comparing the parks to each other is like comparing one Macaroni Grill to another. Yes WDW is bigger. But why?? No sooner than DL opened than the entire area that is now katella and harbor were inundated with buyers and high land prices. Walt built Disneyland with Davy Crockett movies and tv show revenue. WDW was built with Disneyland money. Walt was as poor as a mouse as a child, so his rags to riches story made him love making money. He was a shrewd businessman. Walt sent 10-15 business associates into swamp land in rural central Florida to buy property in their names. Walt knew if they got a whiff of his plan they would jack up the prices like they were doing in Anaheim which is why he never bought more land than he did in Anaheim. By the time the former landowners in Florida figured out who bought their land it was too late. He bought the land in Florida which is the size of 4 Manhattans at a fraction of what they would have charged if they knew who was buying their land. It was sneaky but there's nothing against it. Disneyland will expand and build another park most likely on the employee lot a few blocks away. However, per capita disneyland sees almost as many visitors in 2 parks than WDW does with 4 and 2 water parks. If you total up all the rides, Disneyland has more rides in 2 parks than WDW does in 4. WDW just has way more land and this is bigger land wise. But Disneyland is the original. Walt learned from mistakes at Disneyland that were corrected at WDW. Not many mistakes but some. At the end of the day , you will have a good time at any disney park.

Originally Wishes was the best fireworks for me but now that has changed. It is now magical. Although my favourite show of all time is still Fantasmic. You cant go wrong with mickey mouse and his imagination.

Fun Fact: The song in 1:39 was used at tokyo disneyland 10th anniversary show its Magical. In 1993

I've been to both, Disneyland many times, and Disney World twice - I definitely prefer Disneyland. It just feels like home. Its so charming and magical and just lovely. Disney World is cool, and its fun, but its just not the same. Plus Disneyland is more convenient - everything is within walking distance. Its fun to try out both parks, but I'll always love Disneyland more.

Definitely my favorite of all the showings. Don't care much for the current offering. Disneyland Forever is okay, and World of Color has turned into a history lesson. Can't wait till they bring back the regular seasonal firework shows...if they do...

What I think just have been to disneyland 3 weeks ago and ive been to disney world twice (first time I was 3) is that Walt Disney World is a better resort with more to do and more days to visit the resort itself while disneyland 4 days you can see probably all.(not including seeing the 3 resorts) But disneyland park has something magic kingdom will never have and that is the magic of walt disney himself.

Im such a huge fan of Disney. I would practically live at Disneyland if I had the chance to. I just recently went to Disneyland like a couple months ago and it feels like I haven't been there in years. I wanna go back really soon cause who doesn't love Disneyland. It's my childhood, I love it so much that I've dreamed of working there in the future. I wish I can go during my birthday this year, I've always wanted to see how it is during Halloween time.

Unfortunately they don't show this one anymore, they switch out firework shows every so often. These usually happen kinda late at night (around 10 pm), that may be why.

Well you know even though disney world is a better resort. I feel disneyland park holds something more than magic kingdom. I felt alive . I felt something I did not feel at magic kingdom. It is the magic of Walt Disney himself. So even though ive been to disney world twice and that was my first to disneyland I think disneyland park is the best park ever even better then the magic kingdom.

the reason i am asking is i saw another video of the 2013 magical fireworks, and the castle didn't seem to have all the dramatic lighting. I was hoping that video was just an off night, and they didn't eliminate the lighting due to all the fall protection rules..great video by the way

At 2:59 through 3:04, there should have been some comets or mines in those short gaps in my opinion. The show would have been a little better with the addition of mines and comets at this point.

Do they ever do this show any more? It’s always been my favorite Disneyland fireworks show, but I’m always so confused as to what their fireworks show schedule is. Like, there’s one for Halloween, Christmas, off season, and summer maybe? I can never tell

I know Im 2 years late but I can help you out a bit: First off they don't do this show anymore, here are the names of some firework shows and their time periods Fantasy in the Sky (50s-90s) [Mainly a mix of Disney music] Remember Dreams Come True (04-09) [Celebrating the rides of Disneyland] Magical/Remember Dreams Come True (They went back and forth every summer) (09-2014) [Magical, well you know] Remember Dreams Come True (2014-2015) Disneyland Forever (2016) [60th anniversary show, contained lots of classic Disney and Pixar movies] Together Forever (2017) [Pixar Fest show, celebrating Pixar and contained only Pixar] Remember Dreams Come True (2018) Mickey's Mix Magic (2019) [Light show dance party-esque show, originally made to celebrate Mickey's 90th anniversary but its still showing in Disneyland] Disneyland Forever (Late 2019) Mickey's Mix Magic (2020) They do have seasonal shows, here are them: Halloween: Halloween Screams Christmas: Believe in Holiday Magic 4th of July: Celebrate America Hope that helps!

Also being close is not that great of thing since you have to walk so there is more walking while at disney world you can sit down on what transportation you are on going anywhere and also disney world has space to build more while disneyland unless they buy lots of houses in the area we will not ever see another theme park there. Although I would pay for a park hopper more at disneyland then disney world because of waiting for the bus and the journey to another park takes a bit long.
