Having grown up during the era, he's my favourite of his kind because it's a red flag. How it was approached, well that was terrible. It wasn't really Avalon, it was Darkar preying on another teenaged girl.

For the Palladium fairy problem you mention! Back in the day in like a Winx magazine I think it is explained that Palladium's species actually undergoes a metamorphosis they say is from young boy with pointy ears, to teenager, to handsome and charming men and finally the last phase is getting their wings! So elf in Winx actually do have Wings and can kinds be considered fairies! (They are kinds similar to them with how fairies goes from no wings, to small ones to big snd strong Enchantix wings) This is also backed up in the Italian dub of S2 where he mentioned that elf have "evolution stages" while explaining his new appearances.

I actually like the wolverine-esqe haircut on Codatorta since my favorite depictions of wolverine is when he’s a disgruntled dad of a found family of mutants (which in turn is one of my absolute favorite tropes)

All these designs look so great! I especially like Knut; it's a shame we completely stopped seeing him in the show. Also, Cocartorta looks amazing, and I really like your version of him being a softy. His romance with Griselda sounds wholesome, love stories about people finding love later in life are great (some people seem to think your love life ends after you turn 40 if you're not married). He also seems like the type of guy who likes strong, decisive women.

Palladium is my favorite teacher of the bunch. He's a total badass (season 1 finale, anyone?), is super knowledgeable, kind and a great mentor to the girls.

Great job on redesigning the faculty staffs. But I do wish you would redesign the Cloud Tower faculties: Ediltrude and Zarathustra (also their twin sisters). Palladium, Knut, DuFour, and Wizgiz are my favorites!! Your Palladium reminds me of TheWickedMermaid's Palladium too. I thought of some voice suggestions for Codatorta: Clancy Brown, Michael Dobson (actor), Paul Dobson (actor), Brian Dobson (actor), Fred Tatasciore, Diedrich Bader, John DiMaggio, Thomas F. Wilson, Brad Garrett ,Scott McNeil, Garry Chalk, Brian Drummond, and Richard Newman.

These designs are soooo good Teddy! I love the way you were able to provide so much personality for these characters whom were mainly irrelevant prior. I’d love to see some more cloudtower and red fountain teacher designs but this video was so good! I’m super hyped for Valtor, the ancestral witches and enchantix!

Hello there Teddy. I do apologize for the tardiness of this comment, but when you posted this video I was busy at work and just recently found the time to check it and I really enjoyed it. Your redesigns on the faculty members of Alfea and Red Fountain were absolutely stunning. My two favorite designs that you made were Avalon and Wizgiz, just because you made them look and feel like the professors that we should have had in the animated series. Thank you for getting rid of the Avalon weirdness. While I didn't outright hate it in my opinion it was the weakest part of season 2. I actually kind of think it's a good idea in theory to show kids that not all adults are good. But I also think it kinda stumbled here since the show as it was wasn't really prepared to tackle that type of storyline.

i agree fully, i think it could have been a way to show red flags and maybe even what to do in that situation or how it affected bloom later on, but it almost feels like they realized they were struggling to handle it properly and bailed, i would rather use avalon to show what a healthier response to the crush on a teacher situation could be

This is my first video of yours that I’ve seen, I really enjoy the character designs and it’s so interesting learning your lore of this world I only had superficial knowledge of. I was curious you mentioned that witches are people who draw magic from external sources and are any gender (just that some may prefer a different title). Is this the same for fairies with their internal magic? I just noticed that the female teachers are faeries while all the male teachers are different species. Do you have to be a woman to be a fairy? Could there be a fairy who’s a trans woman? Sorry if this is something covered in another video or information I may have misunderstood.

You can learn that in her other videos, but in this rewrite, fairies are (at least at the moment) only female. And it has to do with how you feel and not biology. So a MTF may be a fairy, but a FTM will not be one.
