While I could sit and watch you color for days, I do appreciate the sped up videos as well as your selection of music (nothing jarring that will make me crazy) :) . Another thing I appreciate, besides your doing the videos and passing on your knowledge, is the fact that you predominately keep your color blends to 2-3 pencils where some have 5-8 pencils, being a beginner it is discouraging to not be able to "fit" 5-8 colors in one space, thereby making it unable to attain a decent project. I know, don't compare yourself to others as they have a bajillion hours more practice than I do, but still, 3 pencil blending is much easier to attain than 5-8. So a BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG thank you for keeping it simple but most definitely beautiful. Take Care, Teresa :)

Did the black marker you used bleed through the paper? I've been looking for ones that don't, I have the big brush pitt pen but black can go through in some spots.

That's a Posca paint marker. It's a water-based ink and it doesn't go through the paper. I couldn't believe it when I used it!

Why does my prismacolour when l colour go shiny and yours doesn't ? you make it look so easy , l just cannot manage to do what you are doing , any hints ?

Beverley Gardam you could try doing more light layers and build up that way. However, when using prismacolor wax blooms will happen, it's just a characteristic of that type of pencil. I would think if you held her image in real life or saw it at a certain angle you would see a bit of shine on it as well. It's not a bad thing, just a thing.

Beverley Gardam when you layer the color on thickly you get what is called wax bloom. That is what causes the shiny look.
