Well... didn't expect this one to be quite so emotional, but here we are. Marcelito pulled off a poignantly emotional cover of this Michael Jackson classic (even though I haven't heard the original lol).
A lot more low-key than I've ever heard before from Marce, but it fit the song and the intention of the performance perfectly. It would not hit anywhere near the same if he tried to do a 1 to 1 emulation of Michael, or if he did his signature high note low note style.

This video was never to show off his voice etc, he made it as a charity video so proceeds could go towards helping covid 19 victims. Bless him, more Marcelito please. Also his wife translates for him because he only speaks a little English but is learning all the time.

Agreed, I think it’d be strange for him to be making a show out of it, it was much more emotional the way he did it. That’s actually so great of him to do, better than those celebrities who sang “Imagine” for no real reason. I knew his wife was involved in his career, I wonder if she helped to translate the speech at the start for him… probably. Honestly hearing him sing in English you wouldn’t be able to tell he somewhat struggles to speak it, just shows his talent. Thanks so much for watching Christine, hope you have a great day!

Please don’t let the depression get to you, talk to somebody. We just lost our 22 year old granddaughter because of depression and she had just been married in February of this year. I really did like this song, it touched me and it doesn’t take much lately My best to you ❤️❤️
