Magical Mirai 2016 - My Experience (+Mikus 9th birthday in Sapporo / Skytown)

This video is mainly my experience of the event that just ended a few days ago, Magical Mirai 2016.
As the past 2 years, I flew all the way from Germany to Japan - the event took place in Tokyo again.
This year it was not in central Tokyo but the event area "Makuhari Messe" halls number 9 - 11 near Chiba.
The event was 3 days long, from September 9th - 11th.
On the 10th and 11th there were two Miku live concerts each.
On all three days there was a great exhibition with a lot to experience and do.
In this videos I show you my trip how I get there and how I experienced the event with my friends.
I show you the exhibition and all you could do and even short footage of the concerts!
The concerts this year were a lot of fun and very different from last year, very many new songs.
Unfortunately I got sick for the last day, had to skip one concert and was "barely alive" when I attended the last one...only for Mikus sake I even went.
Still the event was lots of fun again and probably the best one yet.
Oh yeah! In the beginning I show you another part of my Japan travel, when I visited Sapporo, Mikus hometown, on Mikus birthday, August 31st! At Chitose Sapporo airport, there is an area called "Skytown" that is all about Miku, with a lot of merchandise and a small exhibition area, too. That part of the video is only short so I combined it with the Mirai event report.

Are you going to get it on dvd or blu-ray? I'm going to get it on blu-ray as my PS3 and PS4 can play it. Though DVD might ve abit cheaper then Blu-ray. I do have a DVD player that can play all regions. I wish she and her friends come to New Zealand but might not going to happened.

Have never seen any earlier Blurays there, no. There are always some prodcuers there that usually just released a new album and that is being sold.

You can check on the official page what they had last year. magicalmirai.com/2016/goods.php Also you really mean 2018 not 2017? You should go for Mikus 10th anniversary. And while not likely for the concerts to stop while they are popular, nothing has obviously announced for 2018 yet.

This is hard to answer since I also travelled around Japan with my friends, the trip was two weeks. Let's just say that for the accomodation plans alone including 3 concert tickets, plus the one lottery ticket, that was around 700€ alone... So 4 tickets and 3 nights at a hotel. And merch? From Magical Mirai alone that must have been something around 400€ minimum too.

There are multiple ways to get tickets, accomodation plans which I mainly got where you are guaranteed a ticket but the hotels that come with it are a higher press than if you book it normally, lottery but the chances are pretty high and general sales, but this is only in Japan so you have to buy resells from Yahoo auctions or soemthing.
