During our two week stay in Seville we visited Seville's infamous Mushrooms twice; once during the day and the second time in the dark. It's not the highest point in Seville, but if you're in Seville, it's really worth it, especially at night. Follow us on this rooftop tour.

Ah the Metropol Parasol aka mushroom. Was fortunate to go visit Spain in early February and I can tell you I enjoyed my time in Seville more so than in Seville. The afternoon visit was okay, but at night, you just feel the winds coming and that musical background just made my visit to the top just so peaceful.

That is a fantastic structure. It looks impressive in the day, but as you said at night is when it really comes to life with the colours moving, easy to see why they call it aurora. Thank you for sharing and have a great upcoming week.🙂👍

@@DutchTravellingCouple In a way yes, here in the south, only very occasionally do we see aurora and then only the green colour. Further north in Scandinavia, it is fantastic, often with different colours and one can see it often during winter.

I would settle for green right now. With the Hurtigruten we only saw it vaguely and in Finland through the clouds.

Wow what is it like, because that's the one thing we didn't visit?

@@DutchTravellingCouple Back in 1992 I was in a phase of my travels when I gave up on photograph…unthinkable now of course. That means I have practically no recollection. One thing that the Seville Expo pioneered, I think, was outdoor cooling systems of finely sprayed water that covered a large part of the exhibitions walkways and waiting lines. . In the summer heat of Seville walking under this fine spray really cooled things down.
