Mathew Street Of course I'd love to see each album get the same treatment as Sgt. Pepper but I doubt this one will get it. If it does I would think there would be an announcement coming soon as the anniversary is in November. Like you say, we can hope. Thanks for watching!

The US version had the vinyl EP’s pressed at Rainbo in L.A. Rainbo wasn’t known for quality pressing, but they did ok on this one. Mine doesn’t look off-centre. The European edition was pressed in Germany by Optimal. The masters were cut from the Mono EP masters by Sean McGee (who cut the great Mono LP box) at Abbey Road. They are the correct mono mixes & not folddowns. The film looks a little TOO scrubbed though. Too much video noise reduction gives it a blurry look, although the colours are really eye popping. Great design on the whole package. But could have been better! Thankfully EMI only pressed the mono box set by Optimal, after the complaints of the US edition of the stereo LP box. Rest easy as Rainblo is now defunct.

I don't think they will do MMT as a Super Deluxe at this time. I would imagine The Beatles will be the next one out. But, then again, they were pretty tight lipped about Pepper. Maybe another Beatles product will be out in time for the holidays after all. We'll see.

Damn it's hard to believe that an album like st. Peppers is 50 years old. It's still better than most albums made since. Just hard to believe they were that far ahead over 50 years ago.

Right! Somehow the Beatles music to me doesn't sound dated at all and still holds up today. Not like the cookie cutter crap music that we have today. Some new music is ok but most of it I can't stand.

This is a great set. The only thing is in the opening it seems a little out of focus. It's not like that on the laser disc or older DVD release. Maybe I got a bad disc.

Nice set but a missed opportunity. They could have done a new remix of the album and added the additional instrumentals from the film and put it on CD instead of the EPs.

The big downside of this box set is that the music has not been remixed as with Sgt.Pepper onwards and theres not even a CD copy in it.

I think this release was more focused on the film. But they did add the EP as a nice bonus. This was 5 years before Giles started remixing the Beatles albums. Maybe someday we'll get a remix of the Magical Mystery Tour album.

The audio mix for the film is good enough for a standalone release IMO. Would be nice to get it alongside the in the works remix of Revolver.

Mark P. I already own MMT on vinyl and when I buy the box set which has all the Beatles albums I'll have 2 copies of MMT.And I don't like any of the movies the Beatles were in.And I just saw the photo album on your video so I don't need to get it.
