The „wild snowplowrus“ really had me ❄️🦖☃️ Excellent footage of a serene Winter Wonderland… the constant snow shovelling would drive me nuts, though 😅🥶

Yes, these are wild machines and won't stop for anyone 😉they do a great job keeping the roads safe. Thanks, glad you enjoyed this, a snow storm the day before turned the place into a beautiful snow paradise. Stay safe and see you in the next scene 👋

Wow it definitely looks magical there, the trees covered in the heavy snow. Love the quiet winter vibe. Great filming as well! Greetings from Minnesota! 😍❄❄

Hey Scarlette, glad you enjoyed the walk, i already explored the area this summer but decided to wait for better lighting conditions. Hopefully i'll have more luck next spring / summer. Thanks for watching, have a nice weekend and greetings from Finland 👋🙏

I find it interesting that all these houses have ladders on them leading up to the roof. I'm assuming this is some kind of fire code or something? Wonderful video!
@ScenesBySevy Жыл бұрын
That's right, access to the roof is required by law, also useful for clearing snow from the roof. Thank you, glad you liked this one, fingers crossed for so much snow again this winter 😋👋

Hi from subtropical Australia. I never see snow anymore although I grew up in the UK and my memories are that it is beautiful and magical to look at, fun to play in but hell when you have to walk miles to school when the buses are not running. But I think Finland would be a much drier snow and air than damp England. I was entranced by watching these walks and love seeing the birch trees. I grew up with silver birches along our front path, and they were the first trees I ever climbed. The light is magical and I found it interesting that the light of the sun was apparent somewhere in the middle of this walk and cast a golden glow over the snow. I guess that was probably the middle of your short daylight there in Finland.

Hi Margaret, nice to meet you all the way from Australia! Winter is my favorite season, i just can't get enough of snowy night walks. There is all kinds of snow in Finland, it depends on the temperature, there can be powder or sticky sleet. You're right, this scene was filmed during the lightest time of day, the sun doesn't want to show as often in winter. Thanks for watching, have a nice day.

Lovely ❄️ Where I live people have a panic attack with 1 inch of show on the ground. Some even put snow chains on! With that much snow, school would be canceled 😆

Good evening Natalie, in my home country (Belgium) it is exactly the same, but in Finland it works just fine, No work is even canceled! 😝

Greetings! The Snow walk is stunning! How I Love the Snow! It's beautiful, and thank you for sharing such a delight! However I agree with you, this new "Scandic Modern Housing" is boring, lacks any type of individuality in design, or any type of personality. I would not desire to live there! I am also saddened at the idea that the beautiful Woody area is cut down for such non-impressionable housing. When you arrive at the Woods area towards the end, the Beauty of it is awe-inspiring! I will state that the snow does enhance the view of this district...... All the best......God bless you.

Good morning, nice to read that you enjoyed this walk in the snow. Personally, i like the colorful houses, they bring a lot of contrast to the white landscape. Thanks for watching and have a nice week 🙏👋

Forests are important to Finns, but when your country is something like 70% covered by them, many of them don't feel that special. This forest is a typical residential recreational area

Glad you enjoyed the scenery Drew. I think it's more of a hate it love it situation. I personally like winter the most of all seasons, but the southern region of Finland doesn't look like this all winter. I was lucky enough to have time to film just after a big snowfall had blown over. Temperatures in southern Finland are now hovering around -1°c to 4°c with lot's of wet snow and rain, making the streets a living soup 🙄

Hi & thanks again for this beautiful scenic video. It's really hard to tell going from one video to the other, but if I had to choose one I'd have to agree with Raven Klinger's comment to you. Either camera does a good job for my viewing. Hope this helps you some. Have a beautiful day to all of you Scandinavians!! Illinois, USA
@ScenesBySevy2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your feedback Larry, i'm glad you chose PART 2 as well, it is the heaviest setup (a difference of about 2 KG). In the summer i prefer to use a less heavy setup, the heat can cause problems if i walk with something very heavy in my hand for a long period of time.

Both cameras give excellent quality, though I think I personally like the second one better. I bet the area is absolutely beautiful the rest of the year, too. As for the "controversy" concerning the word village, here in the U.S. we have retirement "villages" which are really nothing more than glorified apartment complexes so no hate from me if you wish to use the term village.
@ScenesBySevy2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your feedback Raven, i think i like this more too. The weight difference of both camera setups is about 2 KG with the heaviest being used for PART 2, so i'm glad to hear it 😅

Hi. Why do people put permanent ladders on their homes in Finland?
@ScenesBySevy Жыл бұрын
Good evening Keith, great question and good eye. Finnish law stipulates that roof access from outside is possible in case of emergency. Also useful for getting on top to clear the roof of snow. Thanks, have a great day 👋

The properties for sale are sold as "Ownership". However, it may be that an association is involved that takes care of the mandatory maintenance.
