Great hotel tour and overview! I experienced those bugs while there as well. The thin walls is such a bummer. I have had an experience like that that really ruined an entire night of sleep. Luckily when I was at the Wyndham (also on a solo trip) for 3 nights it was quiet (or maybe no one was in the room next to me at the time.) Thanks for the great review! Honesty is always best!❤️😉

My daughter and I stayed there a couple of years ago and we had problems also. We stayed in the Garden Sunset area. The keycard they gave me at check in did not work. When I returned to the check in desk, the clerk was very rude and told me I probably put it in my wallet near the magnet. I did not, it was in my hand the whole time. Just to note, the people in the room 2 doors down from us also had a bad keycard. The 2nd key card did work. Our room door was also bent and hard to open and close as if someone tried to break into it before. We did not have a bug problem and I do agree that the pool area is the best part of the hotel. We ate at the pool bar and the food was good.

It's very sad that you had a bad experience there. I'm a local and I do stay there often but I've only stayed in the tower. I've never had a horrible experience at all there. In fact I love their rooms and I think their beds are very comfortable. I usually find a pretty good rate when I stay there as well. I love the tower because you have great views of either Disney Springs or the lake views. Thanks for showing us your experience there.

I don’t think it would have been so bad if the 2am incident didn’t happen tho the gnats were definitely something that would stop me from returning. And people have messaged me that they have had gnats too.

Great video as always. Wow the neighbors sound are so loud! The hotel seems ok but not the experience I would like to have at WDW. I know someone that stayed there and didn't like it at all. I got this hotel during Covid on Priceline for $40/night. It's super close to Disney Springs (closer than Saratoga Springs) and it 'worked' - I had a bed, shower and coffee maker.

I had bad stays at conventions in the morning where the kids were legit screaming their heads off....ok like once and we were on the "quiet floor" and the night before i legit got "yelled at" because "i was talking to loud" and i was just talking at my normal voice. that's Boston for you though, i haven't been back since. >.>

I’m so sorry you had this experience here !! I stayed here and absolutely loved it but I did stay in a tower room . I think the tower room is a little more “hotel style” while the garden rooms are a bit more “motel style”

I don’t mind motel style. The all stars are motel style. Holiday inn has garden rooms. This was totally different. And mostly of the 2am situation.

I think that goes for any hotel . You pay less you get not as nice accommodations. For more money the tower rooms give you a view , nice hallways off the elevator entering the room , and a little more of a fancy feel . For a cheaper price you still get a room but no view , less elevators as you seen , and a little less on the accommodations . With hotels it’s always a matter of you get what you pay for.

As far as the buses go, the Saratoga springs buses are about a 5 minute walk so that would be a better option than taking a Disney springs bus to another resort!

Sorry about your experience. It sounds like even though the garden rooms were upgraded, they obviously didn't improve the soundproofing. The tower is definitely much better, a totally different experience. Depending on when you stay, the price points can be identical or only a few dollars more so it is definitely worth trying the tower for the convenience of the resort to Disney Springs. I've stayed there several times and I will be staying there again next week and renting a cabana for a pool day with the ladies. By the way it's $150 in food and drinks then it's free.

That's just horrible, you should let a Manager know at the front desk and depending on how they handle it, you may need to call there Corporate office to make a complaint and they will handle it. Hopefully it doesn't need to go that far and they'll be able to address what happened because those are some big problems.

I always request no connecting room for security and sound proofing. For the most part the request is honored and it usually helps with noise. I also find bugs can be an issue with exterior doors. I remember having an issue if I wasn’t careful when opening the door at night during my stay at Disney’s Caribbean Beach.

I haven’t had any issues with bugs with any other hotels with exterior doors, including across at Holiday Inn. I wasn’t going to make any special requests for the purposes of the video. It’s important for everyone to know the reality of the rooms.

These resorts are hard, because you are near so much, but you could get a room at Yacht club and Beach Club that is so so far from just a basic door or cup of coffee, that you question your decision.

The Former Grovesnor Hotel. I remember my parents wanted a change from the Buena Vista Palace (bad mistake that I still brought up to this day). Wasn't impressed. I just booked our first Disney trip with my own kids and guess where we are going???? BUENA Vista Palace!!! 😀

My friend has timeshare thru them and stays there when in WDW. I never asked if they like their stay but this turned me all the way off. I actually cancelled Beach Club bc when Disney offered the 20% off (Disney+ subscribers) they didn't include this resort only Yacht club and there were no rooms left for that. I didnt wana pay rack rate lol. The Swan was the only good choice to switch to bc it was around 1000 less. The Dolphin for my stay dates were unavailable so im not even mad I cant wait to try Swan. I always stay at POP but need deluxe resort hours!! Lol I definately loved ur tour of Swan n Dolphin I already watched several times ☺ they were great tours i appreciate it!!

I don’t blame you at all. Banging on the door like that in the middle of the night is not cool. Why couldn’t you be called from the front desk first? Warn you at least that someone was going to come to your door or give you the opportunity to say.. I didn’t know I was making noise, I’ll turn off my phone. I would never return either. Also that is hella loud in the morning being able to fully hear the entire conversation of the room beside. No way. What if I got a snorer next door. I wouldn’t be able to sleep! 😂 hard pass just for that.

Hello my new friend, I must say I don't know how I found your channel but I'm glad I did this is the second video I've watched this morning while putting on my makeup, the first one I watched was the Hilton and from the title of this one I had to watch and I'm glad I did first of all I would never ever stay at the Wyndham not only in Florida but anywhere after your experience which was appalling to be at a hotel by yourself and the wee hours of the morning and have somebody pounding at your door I myself wouldn't have answered it they would have had to send the Florida police and only then what I open my door I would like to know did you make a complaint to the hotel about this and if so what did they do about it, I hope someone from the hotel reads my comment because I will never ever stay at one of their hotels anywhere the Wyndham after what happened to you I had chills on my arms after listening to you I could imagine how scary that was. It was totally uncalled for. On a better note you have a fabulous channel and I am now subscribed thank you for your honest review 10 star ⭐ ps oh and the bug situation there is no way I would have been able to stay in that room I hate bugs and when you're spending good money you don't expect to have bugs of any kind in your room

Why would I lie? And why wouldn’t they have just called instead of banging on my door like I was a criminal. I was a woman alone and someone banged on my door at 2am. It was one of the scariest moments of my life. I showed you actual proof of clearly hearing my neighbors in the morning and they were just talking normally. The walls are paper thin, the staff is rude, the room is gross with gnats. It SEEMS like you’re being sexist calling me dramatic, this was my experience and my truth.
