I just received mine today. Picked up a brand new one for $300 with my Amazon business account. Almost paid $500 for it last month and decided to wait and found a killer deal on it. I upgraded from a 24inch Benq IPS 1080p monitor and WOW this monitor is truly stunning. I am a professional photographer and i print my own work with a canon prograf 1000. And my benq monitor was still a little bit off with the colors even though it had 100% s-rgb. But after installing my monitor today and putting it into SRGB in the picture selection I print it up my first image and it’s identical to the monitor. And what’s funny is it came set at 35% brightness and i stuck with it and I am truly impressed with it matching up to my canon printer first try. I am really impressed with how sharp it is. I’ve never had a 4K monitor. I was going to get another BenQ monitor but with so many great reviews on this monitor and fellow photographers using it I decided to give it a try and so far so good. Thanks for this video I highly recommend this monitor also

After reading tons of reviews and watching a shed load of KZbin videos including your excellent review I just ordered this monitor from Overclockers UK for £598.00, I also recently bought the Macbook 2021 14 inch pro M1 thingy, now I'm a total Mac virgin I have never used a Mac before so I'm slowly learning how it works coming from Windows 10/11 it's quite a big leap, but I got it mostly because I wanted to use FCPX which is as you know only available for Mac OS, I also bought a GH5 camera last year and a Ninja V plus a smallrig cage and Rode wireless go to complete my setup, unfortunately due to the plague I haven't had much opportunity to use it. The great thing about the Ninja V is I can record in Pro Res 4k 24 and as Pro Res is an Apple codec I thought I need a Mac and FCPX to make the most of it, hence the 4k 32 inch monitor to complete my setup, so now I just have to learn all things Mac OS and FCPX and I'm good to go LoL. wish me luck, Jim in Liverpool

@@hokko274 Hi mate, yeah I got it a couple of days ago dead easy to setup and plugged straight into my Mac's usb c/thunderbolt port instantly worked with the provided cable, it's a really nice monitor I changed the scaling to 1440p as my eyes are not that young anymore LoL, the colour reproduction is good and everything is really clear it's not as good as my LG OLED65C24LA telly but it cost about £1,800 less so go figure, all in all I'm very happy with it, it's a matte screen so far less reflections but it therefore doesn't look as flashy as a glass screen monitor but I bought it to edit not to stroke and show off, I'd highly recommend it unless you've got a bottomless bank account in which case go for a high end Dell or if money is really no object an Eizo

Just installed one to work with my MacBook Pro running BigSur. Instructions for installing arm great but pretty much non existent for using the monitor. That includes downloads from LG and the CD which contains nothing much of any use. On line chats also not available "due to Covid" OnScreen Control will not work, does not recognise that the monitor is connected even though it displays that error message on the monitor! I do like the monitor but LG needs to get their support act together.
@SriramDinesh2 жыл бұрын
This monitor looks amazing and the ergo stand is sturdy and very helpful. The display is good. Speakers are of decent quality. Works fine with my Lenovo Thinkpad fine. Major drawback of this monitor is, when I connect this monitor with my MacBook Air M1 using USB-C, the USB-A ports behind the monitor are not recognising any devices like USB headphones or wireless Keyboard or mouse (which use USB dongle.). This is a big let down. LG used to be official accessory partner for apple. This is really surprising and disappointing. The same problem is seen with other models of LG ultra fine monitors. I bought this monitor specifically for MacBook Air M1 but now I don’t have an option other than to return this. Other models like hp z27ug3 (this is not available for sale in India for retail customers.) and Lenovo P27h-20 are working fine in this scenario with MacBooks. Note that one can use bluetooth keyboard or mice or headphones to get around this problem. But you will be confined to connecting only one PC/laptop always. If you have both work and personal laptops which you use in different times, you definitely need bluetooth accessories with multi-device support which are very costly.
