Good story Thorsten, thanks for sharing. My 2 cents, I left LR in 2015-2016 and went to C1 and never looked back (still have it but more for other people when they have questions) cause around that period IMO Adobe was a bit sloppy with their LR updates. Since C1 was gaining serious market shares they start putting more attention to it but I discovered some of the algorithms for the same adjustments were better with C1. Now changing color in BW by pulling down the Saturation to keep the Tint is legit but you are better off to choose B/W cause then you can adjust all colors separately. And last but not least ... ...man, I love that shot at 3.30 of the "make up girl" , mainly the shot itself but the model in her looks, is to die for ...... EXCELLENT !!!!

Thank you for your comment(s). Capture One is an overall better and more intuitive tool, and as you I have both and use both. I often feel that desaturating gives a more "old school" look where the colors are translated correctly to their respective greytones ... that is, if the editing software is made to do that.
