Hey David, since I have successfully done this trick to/for my bosses over the speaker phone while actually sleepwalking, it’s kind of a bad memory for me. Two of my bosses called me to pick up a shift, and realized that I wasn’t all there. Knowing I did magic they decided to have some fun with the situation. The first number was 10; easy. My bosses started looking for a camera, but I missed a much harder 6 digit number on the second try, so they relaxed. Hey, I was ASLEEP. I didn’t remember any of the conversation until I was written up for a no call, no show for the shift I agreed to do (while asleep). Great review as always! You mentioned it was old, and may go back to “the time of ___”. Would you please fill the blank? My ears ring now and require subtitles. 😊

@@magicorthodoxy The write up was harsh, because two no call, no shows in a year resulted in termination. I made it through the year without being fired. I verified the conversation with one of my bosses who I remain friends with long after I left Las Vegas. I guess it was three or four years ago. Believe it or not! David, will you please answer my question…the time of ___?

Love your review, the method might be obvious to a spectator, it's all ears!, I feel this is so ancient, they could catch you at it! Thankyou david

I might add this method was exposed on an episode of Colombo! In the 90s rebooting with Peter falk , the killer was a mentalist!

I thought this method only worked with chalk and certain pencils. At first, I thought it was a PR. Everything old is new again!

It should work with the E.S.P symbols. In 13 steps.

Thank you for the review. This saved me the purchase price as this method has been covered in a few different mentalism books. @MagicMan8787 has a great idea that would be way more reliable by using ESP symbols. If you have to peek, why not use a better method. Another negative: Can't be done (without the peek) in a noisy environment.

As fascinated as I have been with this method from 13 steps, I cant risk a misfire during a show. I am sure I could practice repeatedly and learn a new skill. However, is the juice worth the squeeze? Thanks for the review David! I look forward to your videos each day.

well, you joined with a different youtube account than this one, since this one does not have a member icon next to it ... you'll only have access using the screen name you singed up with

This is a definite TCC pass for me. I do love TCC's trailer for this though. Tells you EVERYTHING you need to know. $40.00 seems a bit much for this one.

Were you happy with it overall? It feels very limited and when performing for a lay audience, the classic methods are just as deceptive. Bob Cassidy's 4th dimensional telepathy has been in my main set for years, for example, and it feels just as fair and packs a much bigger punch in my opinion. I'm curious if you found this to be more useful than the myriad other less limiting methods for reading a billet.

i'd rather just get my information with a good old fashioned peek

I find the issue to be justifying the prop as well. It doesn't block your view particularly well. It isn't nice enough to justify as a luxury piece for writing either. It just exists. It helps the method but if you are willing to put in the time and effort, the method can be obtained in ordinary ways as well.
