1) Black card stock paper
2) card board
3) fabric glue
4) scissors, scale, pencil, eraser etc
5) scoring tool
6) 4 button magnets
7) pattern paper
8) tape (optional, i just used it to hold the paper for long, you can use paper clips instead)

I'd like to add- for an even stronger cover, use layers of uncorrugated cardboard (the thin cereal box kind) and glue it together and press it under a heavy book until it's like chipboard.
