I used a magnet ,small round earth, put on the bottom of my finger with a flesh bandaid.

Good review. But you don't have to have your hands around like that to hide the slient assistant. I have used the slient assistant and had people starting right out it for a good 30 seconds without much movement at all. Silent assistant and control are two different tools. Anyone that thinks they are the same thing are silly. That's like saying loops are the same as the tarantula. I agree with most of your point's and this is the first review I found that is honest. I like and use both equally. Even in the same sets. They are both fantastic products.

Great reviews! I can't believe so few people have reviewed Troy's Charming Chinese Challenge! It's such a good routine. I got the old dvd back in 2006 and am excited to have an all new edition with new coins and everything. Thanks for this!

Any ideas on how to make the Silent Assistant stay on your finger and not fall off????? I broke my first one trying to bend the magnet. I've since purchased a regular size and a large one but still can't figure out how to make it stay on. PLEASE HELP.

Control and Silent appear to be pretty much the same concept right? But Control seems to have loads of effects, silent assistant seems to have less... Could you do control style effects with the silent assistant gimmick or are they both totally different systems.

I just got the Silent Assistant, but my hands are apparently really thin and I can't hold it on securely. Is there any way to make it more snug since I don't think the magnet is bendable? My ring size is around a 6.

what sort of skill level do you need for Chinese charming coin? is it a knuckle buster? or more self working? what are the angles like? 180? 360? could the cord from g. Wilson's ringleader be used for the routine?

Great review but how big are the coins and the Charming Chinese set I own the original Charming Chinese challenge as well as recharmed I'm sure but the coins that came with recharmed are a bit too big for my hands

I find it laughable that every review I have seen for Silent Assistant is all 'hinty hint hint, shhh, wink wink' It's right there in their own promo, full on here's the gimmick and how it works, exploded diagram and all. When someone comes up with one where you don't have to shim non metallic things I'll be impressed lol.

And now the poor man's version. Scotch Tape, a Piece of Felt, your own magnets, and some foundation makeup. Total cost - 5 bucks. When you invent a magic trick showing people they're idiots for buying these overpriced gimmicks, let me know.

EVERY time you held your right hand up the gimmick (control) was clearly visible.. it's clearly a lighter skin colour than your hand!

I think it would have been a bit more invisible if he were to wear it down further on his finger rather than In the middle. Plus I think of it like a thumb tip. Almost everyone would notice if you didnt know what you were doing. With practice it could be revolutionary
