Magicycle Cruiser Pro Review

Why I ride this bike more than any other, even when it's not my favorite.
This is my 7 month review of the Cruiser Pro from Magicycle.
A full size electric fat tire bike that with more power than many others.

I still prefer gas bikes and motorcycles but Id definitely recommend your ebike reviews on anyone looking to buy one. This is already more useful than others out there trying to make their sponsored product cooler than they actually are.

I got the Ariel Rider Kepler and it's pretty similar to this bike but the headlight on it is about three times brighter than what I'm seeing in this video and the tail light on it is a bit more visible too (it even has teeny tiny turn signals!). Comes with an adjustable stem stock. Same 52V 20Ah setup and it has a bigger rack, Much like the Cruiser Pro it seems like a perfect work horse. I've put about 150 miles on it in the week I've had it. Takes hills like a champ and keeps up with the traffic around here. Couldn't be happier. I spent a week researching and these two were definitely at the front of the pack for my needs. The Kepler just edged this one out in terms of features and I was able to find a good deal on it locally ($950 with 100 miles on the odometer) but I'm sure folks would be happy with either bike.

Hey man, loving these videos and it's inspired me to check out and buy things to make my own bike. I work about 5.2 miles away and I just don't have money for a cab or a car. Hoping learning this will help also did you notice your intro music would fit perfect in a The Last Of Us Intro. Awesome work dude.

I agree with you there on those lights. That headlight is not bright, wide or far enough. I wouldn't feel comfortable even going 20 mph with that. Maybe if you were just pedaling, then yeah.

I have had this bike since last fall, when the company significantly reduced the price. I haven't driven it very much yet, the only BUT is the 20 amp/h battery. I'm waiting impatiently for a 60 amh battery to appear.

You can turn off cruise control in the control menu. It has a weird name though…it’s not called cruise control. Look for Pace something.

What length Delta stem riser did you use? The short one or the longer one, They come in 2 different lengths. If you used the long one did you have long enough cables and hoses to turn the handle bars the full distance side to side?

What suspension seat post are you using? I'm also a tall rider and need leg extension so I had to get a 450 mm seat post for my regular Magicycle Cruiser and maxxed out the height. I want a suspension seatpost but don't think it's long enough. Can you share the max height measurement... from seat post clamp to top of seat on your suspension seat post?

I still think gas bikes rule over e-bikes. With a gasser, you learn to build create and have more fun at a significantly lower price.

??, I own 2 ebikes and both are DIY! 1 winter commuter with spikes and hub drive, cost all in 1200€, the other is a mid drive road bike for the good days at 2700€ You can DIY ebikes easily and they are cheap as well if selecting the right components If you don't select 800, and 1900 base cost bicycles then it gets significantly cheaper again too Electrification of a bicycle starts at around 300€ conversion cost

In terms of overall pros vs cons. The motorized bicycle wins . I'd actually rather have a good ebike but couldn't justify it's cost , short lifespan, poor reliability on my current income. Plus ebikes don't like 25F snowy weather. I can't ride 2 miles in 25F snow, then lock my bike/battery to a pole, come back 4hrs later & ride a frozen battery without shortening its life span. Or leaving parked in direct sunlight on a 95f day. I'd always have to remove/carry battery & keep it out of the weather. Not to mention shorter range, slower speed, waiting to charge. But it does have more torque for climbing hills and no loud engine noise.
