Magicycle E-Bike Battery Spark

I remove the battery to charge it and each time I reinsert it into the bike it sparks/arcs. Problem? Not a problem? Your thoughts please....

Thank you so much for bringing light to this issue (no pun intended). My Magicycle does the same thing, I know others do as well. All of us who have this issue need to contact Magicycle and demand a satisfactory response

Yup..My Himiway Cruiser does that too! I'm think that after awhile the terminals will get so weak they will break!

Wow, it certainly doesn't look good but I'm not smart enough to know if this will cause damage. Maybe an electrical engineer can chime in. My current ebike uses the Reention Dorado style battery, I have two of these batteries and changed them out 2-3 times a week and they do not arc.

Thank you for your feedback. It seems I’m hearing both “it’s ok” and “this is a problem.” So I agree that an electrician would be helpful. 👍

Wonder if this affects Himiway since it looks like they use the same battery type / connection configuration.

I contacted a KZbin guy who’s channel reviews all sorts of e-bikes on a regular basis. He says most of the bikes he’s reviewed do this 🤔
