Cool video and cool throw. Bismut is really dense it should allow for more extreme designs.

Source from a trusted store on Taobao: this is a 6061/stainless steel Bimetal, not actually made of bismuth. 63.8g, 55mmx44mm. What worried me is that it uses 6mm axle-that sounds wayyyy too short

Are the rings supposed to be made out of pure bismuth? If so, be careful, because a couple floor strikes might crack them right in half (bismuth is extremely brittle). But I can’t tell if they’re supposed to be made of bismuth, a bismuth alloy, or just colored to look like bismuth.

I have no idea about any of that. The Japanese section on SpinGear’s website certainly doesn’t say anything like that as far as I can tell

TokYo-Yo forgot to mention, the nifty engraving on the side is the crystalline structure of bismuth...I have a piece on my desk that looks just like it 😀
