The form you get is only affected by "last hit", I mean, you can only hit melee champs until the bar is almost full, but if then you hit a ranged champ, you LL get assassin. So it only matters when you have the bar almost full, that's where you can choose the form

Apparently how his passive works is that it shows the highest total of one type of orb. This is offset by the fact that each orb's value increases over time

That's not how it works. The 2 bars(blue and red) fills independetly of each other and that circle only shows your highest one. The reason you can stack red all game and from one kill on a ranged you get blue kayn is because the value of orbs increases drastically with time. At lvl 1 a full 1v1 kill wont even give you 15%. At min 20 2 autos will give you almost 50%.

PumpkinBread Don't be. Rhaast is shitty AND overrated, and that's the reason he's got such low win rate. You're supposed to pick what you feel like playing: Rhaast is a bruiser tank fighter assassin jack-of-all-trades that's poorly balanced to a point that he sucks ass and does nothing early and mid game. Dark Assassin is an Assassin that's strong for what he is: Someone who can pop an enemy early, mid and late game. (Ps: You need to actually KNOW how to play Shadow Assassin if you want to deal any damage, especially with his ult, since most people can't see how devastating it can be)
