the reason reputation is probably my second favorite taylor album (behind speak now due to its songwriting) is because she truly gave 0 fucks during this era. this was during her hate train when it seemed like everyone except swifties, her family, boyfriend and maybe a few close friends were against her. and instead of playing the victim like most people do, taylor doubled down on the "villain" persona the public was trying to cast onto her and made an incredible concept album. her reputation was already in shambles, she had nothing to lose, so she truly let loose and didn't hold herself back one bit. and it was amazing. AOTY 2017.
