This is such a great interview with a great guy and fabulous musician and it's really cool of him to even talk about Ghost but I really think he rose above it all and moved forward he was definitely the bigger man can't wait for the new record and I will always be a fan of MCC and Martin long live Omega the greatest ghoul that ever was 🎸🎸🎸🎸

October 2015 was when I discovered Ghost and fell absolutely in love with them. Martin was a huge part of why I fell so deeply in love with Ghost. I'm so sorry to hear that in the end, being in Ghost was so difficult for him, and I'm so sorry about the breakup of the friendship.

Even BEFORE everybody knew WHO OMEGA WAS, he had been known for his talent and his moves. And, I can under stand how a person who may not be comfortable being KNOWN, could really LIKE wearing a mask while they perform onstage. Martin was the (along with Simon ) talent that did NOT need his ego stroked. As far as songs that are "not very happy", when people want to hear "Happy songs", let them listen to POP music or "party songs". Metal and rock music is about many things and sometimes it is NOT all happy and freakin full of JOY. Happy music and all that bullshit is for SHALLOW people, I can see IF you wanna party, BUT, sad and moody music is REALLY the most INTERTESTING music that a person can listen to. It has substance. It has MEANING vs happy happy happy crappy music. Martin has talent coming out of his ass, ears and mouth. BUT, he seems to be shy, and ,maybe THAT is why MCC hasn't really become as well known as Ghost has been. I had seen some KZbin videos where Tobias Forge has been asked to play some RIFFS from Ghost songs that were his favorites, BUT, when he had been put on the spot to play them, Tobias really seemed to NOT be really good at it at all. I am sorry to be doing the "Ghost vs MCC" thing, BUT, here I am doing it. Basically, IF I could have MY WAY, I'd have Martin and Simon BOTH back in GHost. TF is best with BOTH "Omega and Alpha" in Ghost, I do LOVE some of the new ghouls, BUT, Omega and Alpha were just the SOUL of Ghost, and papa # 1,2,3 ??? BUT, I KNOW, the Ghouls will be changing. Now that we have come to love some of the new Ghouls, THEY will ALL soon be gone away. I am sure that some of the songs that Martin had written for Ghost and had NOT been used COULD possibly sound too heavy for MCC, BUT, maybe Martin SHOULD play them. Surely fans of Ghost are also fans of MCC. I do know that at 1 time Tobias and Martin were very close freinds at 1 time, so no wonder Martin doesn;t want to discuss he and Tobias;s current freindship status. DID Martin mention possibly wanting to open for U2? I know that maybe I had heard him wrong. U2 is a great band, I would see that concert IF I could afford it. Martin likes "Daft Punk?" I gotta give em a listen :>) Iron Maiden has put out a new CD or albumn, I wonder WHO THEY will tour with? SO Martin likes to get a bit drunk? And he likes to sit down and relax? Wow, a man after my own lazy drunk heart :>)

Okay, so, he says that Niels Nielson will be in the lineup and that maybe they will work with another producer. SO, I am GUESSING that Martin means that it will be Martin, Niels, Par Glendor and Martin's brother Arvid Persner. BUT, does anybody know where I can see a picture of Arvid Persner? I THINK he has been on drums in MCC, BUT, I can NEVER find a pic of him, I'm just curious....

I love both Ghost and MCC. Sorry that it blew up in your face, Martin. Wish you could have taken 'Zenith' with you to MCC. Totally underutilized and no live versions. SUCKS! The song obviously has your fingerprints throughout.

If the next interviewer is watching this video... ask if the next album will be a mix of instrumentals with non-instrumentals.

In the picture there are 3 guys, so, besides Martin Persner (in the middle) who else is in the picture? The guy on the end seems to be the guy in the "Cirice" video with Ghost, who is he? And who is the guy first in line in the pic above? Martin is so nice, he is very missed as Omega in Ghost, BUT, I do love him in the MCC songs I have heard.

@Luke K. Okay I see and know this now, BUT, this Video's volume should be much LOUDER.
@juliegogola46474 жыл бұрын
@Luke K. I have just now been seeing the videos for "SWAY" and "TURN" by MCC. The guy who is in the video of MCC as the bass player and who looks to be the guy clapping at the end of the video for "Cirice" is Par Glendor. Now MAYBE it is NOT him in that video for "Cirice" BUT, it REALLY does look like him SO much.
@juliegogola46473 жыл бұрын
@Luke K. I have been told that also a guy named "Niels Nielson" is in MCC, so, maybe the first guy is THAT guy, BUT, it COULD be Arvid Persner, BUT, I have been told that Arvid is on DRUMS, so, in the videos of a live performance, we can't see Arvid Persner, Martins brother. And, so, I myself can NOT say IF the first guy in the pic here is the same guy who has played guitar on stage in the videos with MCC playing live, OR if he MAY be the drummer who is Martins brother. BUT, if the guy is in the picture here, I do kinda THINK that it would be Martins brother, BUT, maybe his brother had just joined the band for the Live performances and has NOT been shown in the pics like this one? Hell, I do NOT know for sure.
@juliegogola46473 жыл бұрын
@Luke K. I have only heard about Niels Nielson being in MCC, so, HIM joining "post ghost" is kinda confusing to me. BUT, you saying that "he told me" it's a monster of an albumn, tells me that YOU know him personally. SO, I am looking forward to some fresh MCC music. To be honest, I am just going to be watching any MCC videos, and listening to any MCC songs because Martin is so talented and kinda "hot" too.
@juliegogola46473 жыл бұрын
@Luke K. Okay, thanks for your reply to me:) Getting it all straight as to who had been a ghoul in the beginning has been a bit confusing. I had only been sure about Martin Persner being OMEGA for the longest time.

I've listened to this video twice and I can't make out what song they are refering to as the song that they first released is. i THOUGHT Martin said "the sound of the rain" BUT, that is NOT it, since it didn';t come up when I typed it in above. I only know of "sway" "demon king" and "Turn" POSSIBLY a song or 2 that I can't think of now.
