Looks amazing. Do these type of speakers have a specific name nowadays? I'm interrested in the Transpuls 1000. I would like to see alternatives from other brands to compare before buying, but can't find others.

I’ve got a Kenwood KR-9600 amplifier, have been looking at some retro Klipsch, JBL, Wharfedale’s and other high-end 60’s & 70’s speakers…..are just too expensive!!! Would these Transpuls 1500 be able to handle the KR-9600? Cheers!

Thanks mate... I've been salivating over Klipsch Cornwall's and Forte's for about 2 years now. But they cost sooo much. I have a kid and a wife so 3-5k is quite a large hit... I'm thinking for a snip of the price I can get that dynamic feel and excitement. They go down to 16hz too jeez. food for thought anyways, Enjoyed the vid, cheers

Can port plugs be removed? I guess you can and can be put back if necessary.

I got one. Bass is not so impressive for the woofer of this size.

Room placement will play a big part on that to 😊

I found the same. When I ran sweeps they got down to ~35Hz. They do sound fantastic though. I paired them with an SVS SB-2000 for movies and music.
