I used to make videos solely about natural hair/beauty but then I decided to lean into my profession as a lawyer and pivot to law/finance. I can definitively say, from personal experience, that everything in this video is true. My videos that are financial and legal in nature provide way more Adsense revenue than my natural hair/beauty videos. It sucks, because I love both topics, but from a purely financial perspective, it clearly makes more sense to lean into niches that ultimately make more money.

I had to watch 20 similar videos to find all the content that you put into one video! Content wise-great overview of the topic and giving examples supported with amazing visual graphics/transitions/images/audio, etc. More importantly, fact & fun was combined to hold the audience's attention and gave it solid value: research was there, your storytelling/narration was on point, FIRE editing, & relative/eye-catching visuals, visuals, visuals...more than crazy & gimmicky effects or behaviors as done by others, etc. Viewers with channels have already commented on how solid/reliable/realistic this information was. I just want to let you know though that a lot of people are reporting that KZbin AREN’T showing them new videos even though they’re subscribed, unless they turn on ‘all notifications’ by pressing the bell. (And some people even have to unsubscribe and re-subscribe to even be able to turn the notifications on). It’s frustrating, as a lot people are missing the new documentaries as a result of this glitch, but just wanted to let you know in case you wanna make sure you see future videos. If so, please consider turning notifications on. Thanks again for the kind words - you’re a legend!

I use social media to make money online doing affiliate marketing and get the bulk of my signups using KZbin. It took awhile to get the hang of it and I went thru a ton of trial and error but then I hit some momentum and my channel just started growing and growing. KZbin is not easy at all... It takes consistency and determination. You have to be willing to learn and keep up with the forever changing algorithms but it is possible! Wishing all of you tons of success on your KZbin journey.

Question: when advertisers advertise on a you tuber’s channel, does the viewer have to actually CLICK/ watch the Ad in order for the you tuber to get paid Ad revenue? Or, it doesn’t matter if the Ad is clicked or not? What happens if the viewer skips the Ad? Does that affect Ad revenue?

Just being honest, don't go into it expecting success. Like even if your content is actually good enough, you most likely won't succeed because the algorithm is so inconsistent with what channels it lets blow up and which ones don't. And even if you're channel is successful, you're still unlikely to be able to earn enough to live on, let alone become a "youtube millionaire." Not trying to be a party pooper, just saying like make sure your expectations are realistic and that you genuinely like making videos before trying to be a youtuber

One thing that's worth mentioning, though, is that entertainment channels usually get more views than "niche channels". So if you compare the views of Mr Beast with any of the biggest finance youtubers (Graham, Meet Kevin etc), the difference is massive.
@MagnatesMedia3 жыл бұрын
Good point that picking topics with the highest CPM does not necessarily equate to more money overall. Certainly MrBeast blows everyone out the water. Having said that, I'm not sure entertainment channels necessarily get more views. I agree they have a higher ceiling since almost anyone could watch them, but in my experience the niche topics can often do better than the really broad ones. And I'm very certain Graham Stephan, Meet Kevin etc are making a lot more money than a lot of entertainment channels that are bigger than them. But I do agree there's lots to consider and balance - and it's obviously not all about the money either. I'd never recommend someone make videos on more profitable topics if it's not the content they actually want to make. Good points though, and thanks for watching!
@SebastianInvestingandStuff3 жыл бұрын
@@MagnatesMedia hey, thanks for the detailed answer :) Yeah, I only meant it in the way that in your video it kinda sounded with a vibe of "is it fair that niche topic views are paid better?", and my point was "getting 10k views on a niche topic is harder than getting 10k views on entertainment topics, because entertainment is appealing to virtually anyone, whereas each niche can only draw in so many people". So I wasn't comparing money in niche topics vs entertainment, I was just making the point that even the largest niche channels struggle to get, say 1 million views on their videos, whereas the largest entertainment channels consistently have vids over 10 million. Anywho, glad to see your content keeps getting better :)

@MagnatesMedia3 жыл бұрын
Yes, although it's worth noting that KZbin can't be tricked. You couldn't just add irrelevant tags to a video that are unrelated - they have to match the content, as KZbin scans the entire the video to understand what it's about. I don't mean to imply you were thinking of doing that, I just want to clarify so people don't start trying to add finance keywords onto their comedy videos. 😂 But yes, using the right keywords and words in general can affect CPM. :)

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. The stock market has plenty of opportunities to earn which I myself took advantage of. I made my first million from going diverse, mainly ETFs(stocks, bonds etc), crypto, and gold. I'm also working on an investment plan that includes NFTs with my advisor,Kelvin Maorgan. It's been a year and half of steady growth.

Wonderful video as always brother. It's rare that I finish a 10+ minute video to the end. I wanted to ask you a question in regards to the courses you make. I'm aware you and your editor use Premier Pro and After Effects. My partner signed up to skillshare via your link and followed the tutorial you previously recommended. However, it helps understand Premier pro as a whole but not the beautiful well made motion graphics you use in your videos. That documentary style, well designed and edited footages of yours is something I need to learn one step at a time with direction instead of looking for tutorials all over the place. Could you possibly direct me with steps into how exactly can I achieve structure of content creation? Once again, thanks for your binge-worthy content.
@MagnatesMedia3 жыл бұрын
Hey Yasha, firstly just want to apologise for the slow reply, and thank you for the kind words & feedback. It looks like you're covering some really important and useful topics on your channel, and I'd certainly love to see the documentary style applied to your content. I'll answer your question below: When it comes to editing, aside from skillshare tutorials (I believe they have some specific for motion graphics), you can actually find some great guides on KZbin totally free. You can watch similar content and see effects you like, then search for tutorial that teaches you a similar effect. And normally when you learn one specific effect, it teaches you more about the different tools in Adobe as well, so it can be useful for your own creations. Now, as for the step by step process you talk about, the good news is I have created a KZbin course specifically for that. It is designed to be an all-in-one solution though, covering growing a channel, building a loyal audience, making content, setting up multiple revenue streams, scaling it, building a team etc. If KZbin is just a hobby then it's probably not the right thing you need, but if you're interested in KZbin becoming a full-time income, I think it can be perfect for that. I'll admit editing is not really the focus of it at the moment, but I am currently working on a new module (which will be added free to all buyers) that goes step by step through my process of creating documentary style videos. Script, planning, coming up with editing ideas etc. So that may be what you're after. Here is the link magnatesmedia.com/ytm-order if that's of interest at all? Either way, I really wish you the best of luck with your channel. And if I can ever help with anything else, just let me know man!

I havent started my channel yet I am afraid not sure of myself. I need to get back on editing and learn again I have been slacking. I do Marine repair for a living. A lot of my videos are going to be Marine repair but not all. I read a book on starting a KZbin channel and he said very clearly if you are starting this just for the money you will fail miserably . You have content that people want first and foremost . If you dont have the content that people are interested in you will never be successful . Work on taking care of the people first and having good content and they money will follow . If you want to be rich over night it is not going to happen. Dont be greedy and dont quit your day job if yo do will will flame out and go down just as fast as you started. I love to teach I really enjoy it ! I want to have informative videos to teach people that is going to be my primary mission. I am not concerned with money. If it come great! If not then no big deal . I just want to have good content and hopefully I can help people learn something new. That is my goal
