Thank you for your comment, we always clean up after ourselves. We like to think we have left an area cleaner than when we arrived. We arrange for all the scrap metal we find to be collected by a scrap metal merchant who takes it away to be recycled. In the beginning of the video was your son's standing on something? He actually looked taller than you, I think he's grown a lot since I started watching you folks. He seems to be a real nice kid. My son passed away at 25 years old due to diabetes. It was very surprising because he was a health freak. Anyways when I see people with their sons it just brings back precious memories. The uj / joint is from an early mini cv joint to conect the drive shafts to the gear box..it has 2 of them one for each side of the diff. notice the grooves round the out side of the plastic/rubber parts this is where the metal clamps locate to fix them together.Ive not seen one of them since the 1980's when i used to run old mini's.

I love what you find great job guys I also magnet fish in my home town and about a week a go I found his and hers rings in the box the box stuck to my magnet was a great find also found a safe door am still trying to find the safe I think I know where it's at not 100 percent sure but I think that it can't get it out what ever it is stuck in the mud have a 2000lbs all side magnet but love watching you clean up place the best you can

Hi Charles the rings were a cool find! If you ever struggle to pull something out that’s stuck deep in the muddy silt try the pull and release technique, pull on the rope and release, pull on the rope and release carry on doing that and it will often loosen it. Also try pulling from different angles. Hope this helps 👍

Love your videos, have started magnet fishing, luckily where I have been the rivers have been clean the ring is possibly Mediaeval, the rings were tiny and they wore them on the end of their fingernail, that's why they were always losing them.

I have been using a penetrating oil product called PB Blaster to soak rusted bolts, hinges, and other mechanisms that are rusty and frozen. It works well. I don't know how large their distribution is, as they seem to be a smaller company. I feel like a trader saying this, but it works better than WD-40 products. WD-40 was started and is still based here in San Diego where I live. Give the PB Blaster a try. You may be able to find it on Amazon.. Right now I am trying to remove rusted exhaust manifold bolts on my 1959 Ford Fairlane. They have been on there for 62 years, and they just don't want to budge.
