27:33- Based on seeing what looked like 2 tabs with cutouts on the ends, I would venture a guess that it might be a drop down door for a coal or wood stove, for the ash cleanout. I think the big lumps Marie found , based on the glass fronts, could well have been old electrical meters; with the glass allowing the meter to be read. Nice find on the keys.

During this time of fast flowing flood waters, slippery banks and heavy clothing, I think a close to hand safety ring, or even an inflated inner tube on a rope should be on hand in case one of you slips into the water….
