To find acceleration and speed , we'll have to find the slope whereas to find out the displacement we'll be finding the area.. It depends on the situation..

I believe, if u have a distance time graph, then u have to find the slope as d×t gives nothing. Annd in case of velocity time graph, find area under the graph
