Comparative method: it means to compare between all existing religions and making notes of their ultimate goals, similarities and differences, there origins etc... For example, if I have to compare your religion and my religion by taking comparative method...1) i will study about origin of yours and my religion and see if it is single god religion or multiple god religion or with no god religion, beliefs and practices, etc.. 2) i will see the difference and similarities between your religion and my religion..like language, tradition, culture ,myths and cosmological views etc 3) and finally come to my conclusion wither our religion has same labels in beliefs and practices, in which category religion, denomination,sects or cult etc...
