BUT, sir When we increase the length of conductor, then simultaneously we are increasing the resistance( factors affecting resistance). So, the current through the conductor decreases (ohm's law) resulting in the decrease of magnetic field. Then how increase in length, increases magnetic field? Plz answer it I'm very confused.

Have a small question, will it be correct to say that when there is an increase in length, there will be an the current (I proportional to L), so magnetic field's magnitude also increases?
@saynapal2138
@saynapal2138 3 жыл бұрын
No u can't say .... Becoz, R = pl/A ...that is, Resistance is directly proportional to length of a conductor....If the length is more, the resistance is more....and hence the current is less ( as resistance is inversely proportional to current) . Hence, you can't say length to be directly proportional to current.
@saynapal2138
@saynapal2138 3 жыл бұрын
But you can say, length to be directly proportional to magnetic force, which is produced by a magnetic field....as, the length is more, their will be more magnetic field lines.... hence more force...
