I just wanted to mention that instead of explosive blocks for the disposable system, you could use springs instead with the upside facing vertically as springs are much lighter than explosive blocks, which would make the MEBL launcher much lighter.

I feel that this has other potential other than a spread explosive launcher. If i were to use normal balls, could there be the possibility of this becoming a sort of flare gun. Close tracking rockets attack the closest thing to them (i think) So if i were to fire multiple balls in a spread could it potentially deter rockets? I mean the rockets are so laggy in most pvp servers i go so im sure we would not really need them. Also what if we could use these weapons on ground as anti air? If we could potentially increase the velocity of the canon itself, could we use my flare canon idea and make it somewhat dangerous as well? If sent at a high enough velocity, sometimes an entity such as a block cannot render quick enough, so when it hits something it will either get stuck inside the thing your shooting at or potentially glitch it out. If we used the explosive blocks even better. If an explosive gets stuck inside an aircraft its one button and the internal systems go bye bye. Idk its just a suggestion

Rockets don't target your own parts, therefore if you were to launch normal balls or whatever rockets wouldn't follow them.

lol i found a kid using this exact build trying to dogfight my spitfire. i won every time mainly because he had no weapons except for the tnt cannons. his build inspired me to build a custom plane with one of these tnt cannons and i didnt even know it was your concept until i already built and tested it in pvp

TIP: if your using the tail gun but you sometimes blow your self up it is because your are tapping your fire key, hold it for a bit then you will be good

I have no motorlock on my jet and I still have the problem where the top and bottom trapdoors fall off the cannon. There is only one anchor block which is placed 2 blocks higher than the cannon. Is there a solution for this? Edit: I fixed the problem by changing the placement of the trapdoors.

just replace the top and bottom trapdoors with half blocks. u wont even need the anchor block anymore. it dosn't do that much of a diffrence in weight

I found a way to go up against this, it works by using magnets to push the balls back before u get catched in their blast radius, sett the settings to toggle (if possible) full strength and full range, and place them on crucial parts of ur plane like tail, wings, and engines. (And for the fuselage every ten blocks apart) there ya go, ur plane is railgun proof.

thanks, i needed a weapon capable of reliably destroying turrets without the need for motorlocked rocket pods (which are super inefficient because when rockets are stacked together, they lag and float very slowly.)

With the lock motor thing, to fix it you can put a piston 0 length 0 force where you attach it to the explosive block and when the lock goes in the explosive will stay in

@@merryweather1009 this might be kind of late but i figured out that where you place the explosive block you should place a piston with the thing that moves pointing towards the explosive block and then you set it to 0 length and 0 force and for me it worked

I made this... attached 2 of them to my F22 build. Its nice and I got it to work (after a few trial and error sessions... the trapdoors HAVE TO be positioned and set a certain way... follow the tutorial closely). But my only regret is that it is a "one and done" weapon. I may experiment with adding 4 of them to a large plane (like my B-52) and set them to fire independently. If I dont glitch the whole server to hell, that should be like having 4 vulcan cannons for close ground support. LOL

-you can use the 2nd version without placing multiple of it since it has less spread if only one is present -yes but i wouldn’t recommend it because you have to respawn the whole ship every time after you shoot which takes a long time
