Sir , I m facing problem to figure out the direction of magnetic field inside the toroid.Can u pls help me?
@edupoint.physics7 жыл бұрын
Hello sudeshna chakraborty Look at the direction of current - Clockwise or anticlockwise. Clockwise current - magnetic field lines going inside. Anticlockwise current - magnetic field lines are going out

magnetic field will be clockwise even you have drawn arrow
@edupoint.physics8 жыл бұрын
Hello Rahul! At first I would like to thank you for posting such a valuable comment. It is a very common topic where students get confused with. There is a difference between any field intensity and field lines. Field lines are continuous lines (curved or straight) but field intensity, here magnetic field intensity (in short 'magnetic field'), is a property of a point and being a vector quantity it is represented by an arrow. Leave a comment, if it satisfies you. And as always.... Thanks for watching.
@michelledsouza41006 жыл бұрын
I guess Rahul meant to say that you drew the arrow clockwise but you said anticlockwise at 6:00
