Small addition to this: dL could also be evaluated by using the arc length of a circle which is equal to (theta*radius) so dL = d(theta)*R

Why is it integral of dFsin(θ) but not dF cos( θ)??

Because you want the component of Current (I) that is perpendicular to the Magnetic Field (B) in order to determine the Force. For that component we must use sin theta. Using cos theta will give us the parallel component See the right hand rule. Current, Magnetic Field and Force are all at right angles to each other

Just call me Tsuyu it won't give us parallel component

@@manoneetsikhwal7424 How does it not? Cos is for parallel component whereas sin is for perpendicular component.

@@@joshua7015" angle between dF and vertical is theta" so doing dF cos theta gives us component of Force in vertical direction while doing dF cos theta will give us horizontal component. "What you are saying would have been correct if theta was the angle between dF and horizontal."🤗
