The cars are not turned on. The hill is magnetic, which you go to, park at the bottom, turn your car off, and the magnetic force pulls your car up the hill by itself.

@@Ommfg45 I’m from nearby Nova Scotia. I’ve been to Magnetic Hill in NB. When we were there, we parked at the bottom of the hill, turned the car off, and then the car went up the hill forwards. We were not in the car rolling down the hill backwards. Have YOU been there? No. So……

You can go forward. We went here a few years ago. You park at the bottom, turn your car off, and the magnetic force pulls your car up the hill by itself. It’s cool. But its not that uncommon, there are lots of areas like this across the globe.

I've never paid it. I guess if you come off season, starting in September, it's free. It is a great and very memorable experience.
