I think option d is the correct one becoz if we are considering triply degeneracy or temperature independent paramagnetism so definitely observed is greater than spin only...also it is not triply degenerate but there may be temperature independent paramagnetism... crrect me if i m wrong🙂

Hello everyone.. 1) When we are using the formula. Ecathode - Eanode then both E° values are for reduction reaction. 2) here E° for reduction of Ag is 0.80volt and E° for oxidation of AgSo4 is -0.15 volt.. So E° for reduction of AgsSo4 is +0.15 volt. 3) E°(Ag) is more than E°(Agso4) so Ag electrode is cathode n other is anode E= 0.80 - 0.15 = 0.65

Hello Mam. I have one doubt. As we know that orbital motion contributes to the total magnetic moment in case of free metal ion. But once it forms complex it's orbital motion is restricted right. Then in this case how can it contribute to the total magnetic moment and what is the exact role of degeneracy here. Please explain mam. Thank you.

Maam i need to ask one thing...in the last of this video u converted the Δ value which is given in nm directly by inverting the value....but is it right?...i mean we have the relation E=hc/(wavelength) right? Then how can we follow what u have written?? Maam please look into this

The formula that you've written will give energy in Joules. I wanted the value in cm-1 So inverted the wavelength. The reciprocal of wavelength is wavenumber. And wavenumber is directly proportional to energy. So it is used alternatively with energy.
