***Like and Subscribe to follow us on our next adventures.*** Location: Bangui Windmill Farm - Bangui, Ilocos Norte Saud Beach - Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte Arinaya Beach Resort - Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte Bangui and Pagudpud is at the northern part of Ilocos Norte. Travel by private vehicle from the capital city of Metro Manila will take from 11 to 13 hours, depending on the number of rest stops made. Bangui Windmill Farm is part of Ilocos Norte's effort in green energy. Completed in 2005, it is composed of 20 units of windmill that line the shoreline of Bangui Bay. Each windmill is 230ft high with 135ft blades. For a closer look at the windmill, drop-by AlexAndrea Restaurant. They'll let you park in their property even if you're just going there for the view. They do cook a good meal too. For large groups, contact them through their Facebook page at facebook.com/alexandrearesto I consider Saud Beach as one of the best beaches in the Philippines. Due to the distance, being in the farthest north of the country, few visit this place. The sea is facing the northwest side of the archipelago towards the West Philippine Sea. Sand is powdery white. The water is turquoise and not polluted. Only a handful of resorts line the beach. Compared to the Blue Lagoon at the other side of Pagudpud, this is one of the best in Ilocos Norte. We stayed in Arinaya White Beach Resort. Lean month rate for an airconditioned room for 2 for overnight stay is P3,500.00, while the non-airconditioned room is P1,750.00. If you failed to book a hotel, don't panic. There are several hotels and bed and breakfast rooms in the area. Best time to visit these destinations is always during lean months in the Philippines from June to October and during weekdays.

Yes. Napaka-ganda ng Norte. Hindi nakakasawa kahit ilang beses na kami pabalik-balik jan. Ilocanos are also very accomodating kaya maganda ang experiences namin. Gained new friends everytime we go there.

Wow! We met Alex in 2017, our first time in Ilocos Norte. We arrived in Bangui at around 6PM expecting a lot of hostels in the area. Unfortunately, the nearest was in Pagudpud's Saud Beach. With two kids and tired after driving for 4 hours from Baguio, we opted to look for a place in the area. Worst case scenario is to sleep in the vehicle and park by the beach, which was actually not a bad idea. Then I met Alex, your grandpa. He offered us his place. His assistant even cooked breakfast for us the next day! Can't forget that act of kindness. We visited him again last June 2019 and met his wife and some relatives visiting from Canada (I'm not sure). Really nice folks.

Sorry for the late response. I'm using DJI Mavic Air. It was 45k cash when I bought it. Meron ng bago, Mavic Air 2. You might want to check their specs. Maganda itong Air. Lumalaban sa hangin kahit sa bangin ng Tagaytay. Make sure to follow CAAP rules when operating your drone.

Walang bayad ang beaches sa Blue Lagoon, Saud and Bangui. Libre maligo. Kung kukuha kayo ng accommodation or cottage, dun pa lang kayo magbabayad sa resort. Magpaalam lang and be polite po kung makiki-daan sa mga establishments para makalapit sa beach.
